In February this year (2009), Julian has been signed up to host the Greater Manchester Sports Awards.
Last year (2008) he compered a variety of shows, to a wide range of people.
His credits included shows across the North West for the Superheroes of Slam Poetry show. (see pic above)
He also compered a joint book launch, the Suitcase book of Love Poetry and
How To Dump Your Girlfriend. In addition to this he compered'One World Day', City College Manchester's Got Talent, International Mother Language Day plus
Poetry Factor at Xaverian College and events for the Leeds Young Authors.
Plus a charity event during the Manchester Comedy Festival.
Julian is also the regular compere of spokenword music night Speakeasy and has previously been a guest host at DeadGoodPoetrySociety (Liverpool), Reverberate (Manchester), the main stage at the Unity Festival and regular compere of 'Flip the Script' at the Contact Theatre.
He's always in tune with his audience, his spontaneous and wildly funny rapport provides as much entertainment as the acts he's presenting"
