SANDUGO FESTIVAL

A festival commemorating the blood-sealed peace treaty between Rajah Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi marking the beginning of the Spanish colonization of the Philippines.

SANGANDAAN 2003

A cultural festival that highlights the use of the arts and media by Filipinos, Americans and Filipino-Americans in the dynamic relations between the Philippines and the United States from 1898 to 2002.

SINULOG DE TANJAY FESTIVAL
July 24 / Tanjay, Negros Oriental (1 hour 15 minutes from Manila to Dumaguete City by air; 45 minutes from Dumaguete City to Tanjay by land)
Street dancing with mock battles between Moros and Christians followed by reconciliation through the intercession of the patron Se�or Santiago.

ABNOY AT BALUT FESTIVAL

A celebration in honor of Metro Manila's premier produce of "balut" (a fermented duck's egg delicacy).

CORDOVA DINAGAT FESTIVAL

A festival characterized by streetdancing and an interpretative dance competition based on the fishing rituals and culture of the Cordovanhons.

KADAYAWAN SA DABAW

A festival celebrating the city's bountiful harvest in a form of grand colorful parade of orchid-bedecked floats and tribal street dancing.
