An original street in Ketchikan.
The boardwalk goes right behind the shops which were once houses and the trees grow down to and under the boardwalk.
The same street showing Dolly's house at the end. It was the first house in the street and in its time undoubtedly the busiest.
I think Ketchikan was my favourite town.
So fresh and clean and well kept. It is wonderful to see everyone so proud of their town.

Such a mixture of the old and new and thank you for keeping the new in line with the old. It is wonderful to see the new buildings kept to the style.

My trip to Alaska and sailing the Inside Passage was a truly magical time.
To be able to experience first hand the wondrous working of the Lord in this breathtaking area gave me so much enjoyment and pleasure.

If you would like to see western Canada through my eyes, please go to the next page.
I hope you enjoy my holiday as much as I did.
The infamous Dolly's house.
The most frequented house in Ketchikan and possibly Alaska during the gold rush.
What a treasure from the past.
It was really worth walking through and seeing the rooms and their furnishings not to mention the flamboyant clothing.
