Standard Roll
The second most obvious thing to do with a rola bola in my opinion. Instead of just standing on the rola bola and balancing in one spot like in the Standard Balance, in the Standard Roll you roll the board from side to side while standing on it.
Do this by starting out in a standard balance, but instead of shifting your weight so both sides of the board are off of the ground, shift your weight past this point so the board rolls over the pipe until the pipe reaches the end of the board (this helps if your rola bola has brakes). Then, shift your weight in the opposite direction so the board rolls on the pipe until the pipe is under the other side of the board. Keep on repeating this, and thats the whole trick.
Make sure you hold a wall while learning this, because I almost guarantee that the pipe will roll out from under you at least once. When you first learn this trick, it could be very exhilirating. It seems to move really fast, and when you lie in bed that night you might get the feeling that you get after a day swimming in the ocean or riding roller coasters where you feel like you are still on them. At first, it even feels like you are out of control, but soon you will be able to get control of the trick, and make it appear like you are unable to control what you are doing, making it more fun for your audience.
