| The next day John's son was released from the hospital. We chatted about how rude the guy had been to him. Demanding that John come see him at his motel room. I told John I though more of him because he put his son ahead of his own feelings and needs. I think he's a good daddy, one I want to know much better. It seemed like we were drawn much closer from that point on. The next week John got sick and had to stay home from work. He was on-line durring the day when he was feeling up to it. We chatted a lot about many things. I think this is when I told him how I felt about him. He said he did not know what to do. His life was starting to go down hill fast. He was feeling so low. He wanted out but did not know how or where to go. I asked him if he wanted to come here for a visit. He could take some time to gather his thoughts. I said, come for a visit sort things out, you never know maybe you will not want to leave. I hoped he would want to stay. I was not going to miss a chance of getting to know him. Maybe he is the guy for me. Days later he told me that he had told his wife he was not happy and he was leaving. He had told her long ago he was gay and she though it was just a phase then. He told her he loved her and the kids but needed a man in his life. Things were not good at his home now. In the next few weeks we chatted for hours when ever we seen the other on-line. I offered him a place to go and get away untill he knew what he wanted to do. He said he will think about it. Weeks pass the time is just flying by. John is still unhappy I tell him he needs to get away. I remind him again of my offer to come to my house. A few days later he asks if I still want him to come for a visit. We have grown so close now. He decides that he will come visit and if all goes well he will stay. Again he tells his wife he is. She is very angry with him. She denies him telling her he was thinking of leaving. John tells her of an offer to get away for a couple of weeks. He will sort things out and come back for his things when he finds a place to live. That night he emails me to say he will be comming in a few days. He wants to know if I will meet him at the bus station. Will I , you bet I will. All we talk about now is meeting each other. We share personal details things you don't tell someone you only chat with. I can hardly wait till the day he is due to arive. The day has come for me to pick Johnnie up at the bus station. I make the hour drive wondering am I crazy. I have never met this man but I don't want him to leave in two weeks. Something tells me he is the one. God answered my prayers and is sending him to me. I hope this is the one, the guy for me. I get to the city limits and see a bus turning off the interstate onto the road I am traveling. The bus slides sideways on the slippery road. I think great not the bus crashed and I never meet him. It straightens out and I follow it to the station. I park as it turns around and pulls up to the bus stop. I walk over to the bus and wait for him to come off. He had road the bus for almost a day to get here. I see him! He is so handsome, better looking then his picture. Wait he is talking to someone. They stand together talking. Oh no did he meet someone on the bus? Is he not comming home with me? What will I do if he say he is going some place other then my house. He laughs and says, Hi Jeff ready to go as soon as I get my bag. I am so relieved. We get his bag and get in my truck to head home. On the trip back to the house I decide if there is anything I can do he will not be leaving. I am so in love with him now. |
