It's a kitchen! After what Rachel would undoubtedly describe as "too long", we have our kitchen back. Photos of the demo and reconstruction on the Photos page. And not a moment too soon, because...
May 16: Its a girl! After what Rachel would undoubtedly describe as "too long", Eva Rose was born into the world on May 16, 2005. Photos on the photos page.
Holy cow! August already! And still no Christmas or wedding photos up on the site! We recently bought a scanner and will be putting some things up on the site shortly.
August 31: I've put up some photos from the wedding (see the Photos page link below). Thanks to Don Ferguson for sending many collected photos on CD. I have cropped and lopped a bit (we all know when the photos were taken so there's no need for a datestamp) and reduced the size to speed up downloads. Contact us if you're interested in a larger size image.
Rachel and I honeymooned in beautiful Indialantic, FL. We stayed in an amazing oceanfront rental (in the Cayman Suite) and saw a huge loggerhead sea turtle laying her eggs on the beach. Very cool.
Rachel and I married on May 30. Big thanks to Jan and Don Ferguson, Rachel's parents, for all their help and assistance. On the 31st, Rachel formally presented the "Bride" hat to Andrea, my brother Ted's fiancée.
A fantastic photo of us taken by a professional at my company Christmas party is now on the photos page.
Rachel and I travelled to Ohio to spend Christmas with her family. I will be posting photos soon...
On September 12, 2002, Rachel Anne Ferguson accepted my proposal of marriage, making me the happiest of men. I will post photos as they become available. We have not yet set a date for our wedding, so please stay tuned...
There are some pictures on the photos page taken while onboard the tall ship "Windy" on an 1 1/2-hour lakefront cruise September 13th. The woman in yellow is Gretchen Helfrich, host of the radio talk show Odyssey produced locally for NPR. We won the cruise through a contest with the station and had a great afternoon. The gods smiled on us and granted us a rainbow.
More pictures from a recently attended party are also on the photos page.
Rachel and I attended Ravinia on July 3rd, 2002 to see the B-52s.
At the beginning of July I was informed that I had passed the State of Illinois examination and am now a Licensed Professional Engineer.
I met an incredible woman - let's call her Rachel ('cause that's her name!) - at the beginning of June.
