On the Sheedy side we are descended from families named Lamping, McFaul, McLeod, Murray, Neddo or Nadeau, Quinn and Swain. They came to North America from Ireland, Scotland, Holland and probably France. Our Mohawk ancestors were here to greet the Europeans when they arrived.  

         Our Kirsch forerunners were named Bruehl, Holleran, Jacque or Jax, Kirsten Kirschstein, Meyer, Noel, Picard, Reichart, Roberts, Quillinan, Schaeffer, Schmitt, and Vimert. They lived in Germany, France, Ireland and Wales.
