How to get the transition
How to get the curve (transition) on a ramp: First of all you have to know the length and height ("A" and "B") of the ramp (see diagram below). Then you have to bisect (find the middle of) these two points (that was in the previous stage). That's point "A" and "B". See diagram below:
From these two points ("A" and "B") draw a light line up through the points with a pencil. From the point "B" (see diagram below) draw a perpendicular line up until it meets with the line from the previous instruction. Lets call the point where the two points meet "D". For more information on the above text see diagram below:
Put the needle from a compass on the point "D" (see diagram above). Stretch the compass until the bit of the compass that draws is on the point "A" or "B" (see diagram above). Draw a arc between the points "A" and "B". You know should have the curve on a ramp. See picture below:
