COMIC BOOKS

Generally, they are considered childish, juvenile. Something to outgrow. But comics can spur our imaginations. On this site you will hopefully find the evidence of the creative power of comic books as an artistic medium. Through these stories, comics can show us the power of the human spirit, the responsibility that comes with privelege, the impact of our influence on those around us, and the classic fight between good and evil.

INVENTORY

You may view my own personal collection. I have been actively collecting comics for barely a full year, but have already been almost able to complete my collection of Flash, Volume 2. The Flash family is by far my favorite storyline, but there are several other series I actively collect. If you're interested in seeing what issues I'm looking for, or if there's a plot hole you need filled, take a look and see what I have access to.

ESSAYS

These take a look at the world of comics, in the perspective of being both here in the "real" world, and also from the standpoint of the characters themselves. These include a brief look at DC history and a look at a few of the Elseworlds titles in the DC line.

THE FLASH

A brief history of the role of the Flash, and character studies on 2 of the characters who have worn this mantle.
