How do we choose author of the month?

We choose the author of the month based on a few things but are not limited to:

  • The Book- was it the most interesting for the month, did it make an impression, did it give children a positive message to reflect upon, did the readers of the book club agree with the choice? Did the author seem to have knowledge of the subject?
  • Support- did the author interview, chat and follow up with their review, were they supportive of young writers who view this website everyday, is the author's website friendly to all young readers?
  • Personality- Were they kind, down to earth, and interesting to young readers during their interview?


    • Once Jr. Top Notch Writers have taken a vote from other young readers, then they chose who will be the Author of the Month for each age category and they will graduate to Recomminged Reading for an entire year!!!.

    Author of the Month will be posted every 5th of the month, keep visiting.

    As author of the Month, your book will be featured for an entire month, you will be:

  • Jr. Top Notch Writer's Certificate
  • Interviewed
  • Have chat session with our book club
  • Your picture will be posted
  • You will hold a one year space in the Recommended Reading
  • A contests held in you honor.
