| Welcome to JPNT Films - home of the "best filmmaker you've never heard of" (by Filmthreat.com)... and now the 32-hour filmmaking guru! |
Well, once again we have accomplished the near impossible! We filmed our 103-page script, titled "Jimmy Traynor's THE TICKET" in 32 hours. We started at 8am on Saturday, August 18, 2007 and finished at 4pm on Sunday, August 19, 2007. It was tiring and stressful as we tried to keep on track. We fell behind for about an hour but made it up at another location. We never could have done this without the help and dedication of our cast and crew members. The actors that we used - featured and background - were amazing!! Incredibly, we only had 1 major person back out on the day of her film shoot for an inexcusable reason but God was shining down on us that day. Not only did he provide us with an excellent replacement for the role, but he sent us 3 unexpected angels. What we mean is that there were 3 actors who were only playing background for 1 scene who ended up following us to the other locations and became part of our crew. We never asked or begged for them to come, but we always invite anyone who would love to just hang out and watch the fun... and they did.... plus way much more. These 3 were true angels on top of the other angels that already signed on to help us. It is so refreshing to find that we still have some great, loyal, and dedicated people/actors around the Maryland area. OH! Speaking of dedication... one of the actor's that filmed with us on a Saturday suddenly showed up during our Sunday filming at another location. He stated that he saw the email and wasn't sure for which date it was for and so came out on Sunday again, just in case we needed him on set. We didn't because it was an older email reply... but talk about dedication!!! He could have just left it and wait until we called him. But no! He took the time, carrying more wardrobe, to drive out to the Sunday location to see if he was needed. Maryland actors are the best!!! So once we catch up on some sleep, the editing begins! |
