Let's examine this for a minute. What kind of supplies cost 18330$? Here is something you could buy instead of getting back surgery:
Ford Cobra. Yes, for $18000 you could buy a Cobra with which to roam up and down the roads on looking like a pimp. So, you could either pay the "supplies" cost of your back surgery, or buy a Cobra with manual transmission, 8 cylinders still under warranty that can do somewhere over 200mph. Since the supplies cost doesn't include any of the following: pharmacy, specific drugs, respiratory, laboratory, radiology, anesthesia, recovery room, room/board, operating room, ekg, respiratory services, or pulmonary function, supplies can only be so many things (Suggested to be bone marrow or cages to hold the disks together). Those must've been some pretty expensive cages. What were they made out of, depleted uranium?
Please note that the physical therapy hasn't even begun yet, that anesthesia/pharmacy/specific drugs are all different words for the same thing (Drugs), that room/board is not in use while you are in the recovery room, operating room, laboratory or physical therapy, and that patience convenience items (probably a candy bar or a towel) were payed for seperately and are not part of a larger bill.

Also, I'd like to give a shot out to the horrible staff at chaos zone and the webmaster of the zone's website (http://www.subspacechaos.com/moc/moc.shtml) whoever that may be, because I'd like to point out their dominating incompetence in the face of certain productivity.
My first thought about this zone was that I didn't like it because I was too used to dueling zone (Premier League's main arena prior to the move to chaos). I would soon realize that my hatred of chaos had more sources than I thought.
It all started when I applied for chaos staff...being the captain of a squad, a former ref and full-time moderator in premier, a bot programmer and helper in creating aswz, I had all the credentials required to become a staff member, and even though they could have simply given me a reason not to accept me as a staff member, they completely ignored the application and I have yet to hear a word from chaos staff (First sign of incompetence in a staff is always no response). This puzzled me since passplay (mod+ in chaos) was sure I would get a position and I would be able to help chaos grow. I chose to ignore it since their zone will inevitably fall apart under the horrible leadership it has now anyways and I moved on. What I did retain from this is the feeling of how bad the chaos staff really is (And I thought premier/dueling's staff was bad).
My first event in chaos was a small dueling tournament held in a little box on the top left of the map. Being one of the best duelers before the change to chaos, I knew dominating the tournament would be simple and naturally, it was. I easily dispatched of "X-Wing" for the prize of 1,000 bounty in the public arena. Later on, when I tried to collect on this prize, he refused, saying I had already used it. Since I am well aware of the fact that I was saving the prize for a SINGLE purpose and ONLY for that purpose, I can say with 100% certainty that it was NEVER used. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed they simply made a mistake.
Next came the Chaos Zone League weekly game. Me and Five o ford were simply screwing around playing on a 2 man team by ourselves, and suiciding at random, when suddenly the moderator spectated me for having 5 deaths. In reality I had four deaths, but since I had died before the start of the game my record said 5. Despite the fact that the bot clearly logged FOUR deaths along with Five o ford's assurance, he refused to let me back in because my record said 5.
I was pissed off at first, mostly because suprem and other random fags found it hilarious...but I didn't really care, czl is a joke anyways.
Finally, the monthly (sometimes twice a month) Master of Chaos tournament. I had never played in MoC before, but I always dominate in elimination tournaments and MoC was easily owned, despite the fact that I had to fight Cloud AND Miner 1v2 to score a winning kill as they double-teamed me in an attempt to keep me from winning. The prize was your name on the MoC website and 1k bounty in pub. Naturally, when I later asked passplay for the 1k bounty, again he denied claiming that I had already used it, and again anyone who knows why I was saving the 1k bounty prizes would know that is a lie.
That was about a month ago...sometime around 8-20. Today, they still have not added my name to the list. Why? Most likely because I have made it very apparent that I hate passplay for all the dumb shit he's pulled, and he probably hot upset and told them not to add me to the MoC website, where my name rightfully belongs.
All in all, I'd say chaos staff is full of incompetent fucking shits that should fucking die because they are completely fucking retarded, and I hope every single one of them gets hunted down and eaten by headhunting cannibals, and I hope I get to watch every last one of them die as their heads are split open and their brains eaten as a delicacy.
Well that's that, I'm done bitching. Hope to see another win this season,

I was just given a pair of angelfish by a good friend of mine from work, and I have to say they are a real pain in the ass. Already I have had to fully change the water once and partially change it once due to ammonia buildup. They don't like the food I'm giving them. The temperature is too low, and they hate any well-lit area of the tank. Additionally the pH is too high and needs to be constantly reduced. So far I have spent a grand total of 150$ on these two angelfish. Desperately I struggled to save them once as the ammonia buildup reached toxic levels, resulting in me taking a 4am trip to the 24-hour meijer to buy a new tank and alot of supplies.
All in all though, they look really cool and they seem to be happy. Cindy Bravo is officially the coolest person for buying them=)
Fair warning however, if you plan on having fish, expect a pain in the ass!

A new season of draft league is starting when the finals for the current season take place. A link to the draft league signups can be found here. I have already signed up, along with a few friends. I would advise you all to sign up for this league, although it is still purely recreational. The advantages of this kind of league would be quite numerous, the only disadvantage being that you can't pick which team you will play for in a given season.

I am in the process of finishing a GO FISH program for a friend of mine. Since the code for this is relatively simple, I will incorporate it into Reaembot, which I will then leave on in ?go reaem so people can play go fish in continuum=) Watch out for GOFISHBOT when I get the time to finish it=) Also, I haven't gotten any word from anybody as to when next season will start and what league we will be in. I'm not exactly sure of the accuracy of this email's information but this is what the letter claims:

As said, I have not verified the accuracy of this email's claims but it would be very little trouble for me to choose a different gas company, considering the wide range of places I spend my time driving in. Starseed won by no show. I want to make sure everyone knows that this was not my intention, nor was it my fault. Me and Spitfire have had a hell of a time agreeing on a time for the match, and Shanky decided to change the game time less than 20 hours before the match. We can't really blame Shanky either, since he was only doing what was best for everyone. It sucks for Jihad to have to lose that way though, and I am kind of upset about not getting another chance to play against them, with my new and improved start line. Well, the only good news to report right now is that I just went 10-0 in a prac (I logged it and posted on pro board, watch the flames rise), and the webpage is going through major changes. Well folks, this could be the end of continuum as we know it. Apparently, SSCE and SCCU (the two main servers for keeping this zone alive) are moving and will be shutting down portions of their operation, some of which will be re-started once the move is complete. Continuum is not one of those portions of operation=( Find the thread here. BD Vine, one of the head staff that run this game, was able to so far find a new home for Trench Wars and possibly DSB. There are still a few zones to go before they reach SVS or Premier=(
I've been playing the game off and on around 6 years, maybe more. I don't have alot to show for it, except this squad. I hold 1 AML title for which I never played and all my pro seasons I stopped playing before I was able to finish them out. Even in all my time in warzone, I never won a reset, never bothered to win a wzl season, or even get on a really good wzl squad. I never even finished a wzl OR pro season...

And everyone should be scared of going out with someone who is the "settling down type" because those shitty bastards don't care about anyone but themselves. God damn, those motherfuckers. Someday maybe they will stop getting married and being respectable, because everyone is scared of that kind of shit, it is real scary. Everytime a person meets someone who wants to get married they should hide in phear, because those people are fucking nuts. I was watching Star Wars: Episode 1 at a frend's house the other day to see what Emperor Palpatine looked like in Episode 1, and I realized something.
JAR JAR BINKS IS A FUCKING MORON. HERE'S WHY:
First of all, Star Wars episode 1 in general was a big fucking waste of money for both the people who watched it and the people who created it. They could've put something actually interesting to Star Wars people in the movie. Let's provide an example: Anything but Jar Jar Binks.
Seriously, what the fuck was George Lucas thinking? It could have been an actually good movie, with Darth Maul running around kicking everyones ass, and Jar Jar Binks either not being in the movie or getting shot in the head. I went to the movie and watched these people cheer after Darth Maul died, and I realized how much MORE the people would have cheered, if the movie suddenly shifted scenes from Darth Maul's death to JAR JAR GETTING SHOT. That would have kicked ass. People would stand in the aisles, sing and dance. They would have parties. It would be a riot in a movie theater, but no, he has to get rewarded for winning a battle in which he did nothing but completely fuck up everywhere. In fact, that's all he did the entire movie, fuck up. He is the definition of a fuckup in one character. But he gets rewarded? What the hell were they thinking.
See, here in the real world, morons like Jar Jar get shot. But just because it is a movie, Lucas can get away with that kind of bullshit and let jackasses like him get praise. Lucas should've put me as an extra in the movie. I would be everyone's favorite, because all I would do is trash Jar Jar. Example:

First, we have a bye this weekend. This is due to the fact that our opponent's squad did not exist anymore when Covert Agent let them in, thus every squad who plays them will now have a bye week. What may end up happening (since Assassins was also left out, leaving 2 empty slots) is that the two squads playing Assassins and Restricted Access will play each other instead of another team. For now they both have bye's.
Second, the bbs has moved to a more accessible and secure site. The new bbs is here now, the old board will still be there until they decide to remove it for inactivity I suppose. Instead of a simple password for access, each user has his/her own profile and only those on the list have access to our private forum. Each user has his/her own password and alias, same as in the game. So go register and start posting about whatever.
Third, (insert trash-talk about random people here).
Finally, I will update the sidebar/links and probably remodel the entire page. Keep an eye out=) The continuum skin is also long overdue for a change...

Last time we only showed 3 players, though our roster has grown I still think we might be in roster trouble if people don't show on time. Orategama is a squad founded by Cicada (Ex-Unhallowed) and has a decent roster. We have a chance of winning if we play smart and don't choke.

I decided to post this entry from my "whatever" page here because I think people need to know how much The Ring really sucked:
I went to go see this movie called "The Ring". Maybe you've seen it. It kind of reminded me of this other movie called "The Blair Witch Project" in these ways: 1, It was one of the shittiest movies I have ever seen. 2, Everyone seems to think that this movie was scary as hell. In fact, they actually told me they were afraid to watch any video tape or turn their TV on because of this movie. HOW THE HELL are they so scared by this crappy waste of film? I can tell you right now, I woke up and went straight to the movie theater, and people should have been more afraid of my hair than the actual movie.
I did come up with my own movie idea, however. I was leaving the theater and I noticed that the woods in the back of the theater could only be seen for about 20 feet or so until they were enveloped by total darkness. It looked really cool and mysterious (therefor scary), but the idea was this: anyone who looks at these woods will die in one day if they don't take a picture. If they look at the picture, they will also die in one day. Just to make it interesting, making a copy of the picture won't save you if you look at the copy; you just die.
We could call it "The Woods". Here is how the movie would go: A random woman (We will call her Sammie for the sake of argument) happens to wander by the woods. She notices that there is a dead woman flying around and takes a picture. NOW she gets a call on her cell phone! She picks it up and is told she will die in one week. SCARY! This is the part where she looks around and everything she is seeing reminds her of the fact she is going to die in one day. Scary as hell.
Next, our star Sammie realizes she has to make a copy of the picture (because of course, she saw the woods as she was coming out of the theater after watching -The Ring- and being utterly disappointed) and she does so the next day. But here's the best part: SHE DIES ANYWAY! Why? Just for the hell of it. And so that nobody will have any idea what is going on. It will make the movie more mysterious, and thus scarier.

I saw some movie on the Sci-Fi channel about a cult that kidnapped people who went to their "rave party" (It was really just the cult in disguise). There was a bitch named Sammie, little blonde cute girl. She got kidnapped and stabbed. HAHA. I submit that Sammie should also have been either:

Hm. Late April fools I guess. Dark Hour is the new captain. In order to make this work we are splitting the squad into 2 divisions: SS-Elite and Starseed. One is owned by me and the other is owned by Dark Hour. The importance of this is that it gives dark hour the ability to recruit while I am away. They are both Starseed.
We will be returning for the next aml season it seems. As of now we have 5 players, possibly 6. DH will be doing the recruiting and I will be pretty much showing up to nothing more than the matches. Give him your best respect,

This page, along with Starseed itself, is going to be put on hold for awhile. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to keep this squad going and despite my best efforts to find someone who can keep the squad alive, every time I leave for more than a week the squad disappears and "dies", forcing me to either stay online all week or rebuild the squad every two months.
Starseed is far from finished, the likely time of its re-birth is at the end of the next college semester. For the summer I will return for one premier season, and shortly after that, when I finish up the last of my college credits, I will be able to put forward all my spare time into Starseed.
This being my last post for awhile, I have many things that I need to say. First, good job to those who stuck with the squad through thick and thin. Namely Intelli, Coastal, BRASIL, zAiR, and especially Infernal, who were always there at most of the matches giving their best support, if not on the playing field, then in spectator mode cheering us on and giving us spectator help.
Despite the two losses we had against Disavowed and Idiosyncrasy, our season was a great success and we couldn't have won the other 9 matches without the help and support of everyone. Although we had some traitors in our midst and falsehood, Phat and Blacky left us in a shorthanded situation for our two losses, you all kept up the support and jumped in to sub them and atleast finish the game, no matter how badly the game had turned out. Our season record was 9-2 and the final official record for games that "counted" was 5-1. You all did a damn good job, and I hope some of you will still be here when Starseed is reborn. In my opinion, the championship belongs to us, and regardless of our loss to Idiosyncrasy at the hands of falsehood and Phat's bs, we all know who the better team was=)
A few last unrelated words and notes that I would like to leave everybody. First, the Rams finally won. LOL, Kurt and Marshall are 1-5. It goes to show that good players by themselves don't win a game.
Second, Starseed is NOT finished. I cannot forget the commitment I have made to the squad, and when I have more time and become more able to strengthen the squad, I will return to bring it back.
Lastly, what good would a post be if I didn't finish by bitching about women? I hate all the hoes that are out there, and although I'm sure they all think they are running the show, honest people always come out on top. Remember that, and keep an eye out for the hoes. I am not in the habit of going more than 11 days without posting, so despite the lack of news, I'll post something for you guys to look at.
First, Tampa Bay defeated the Rams. Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk are now 0-3, gg. 10$ win there. Also, Schlep still has not mailed/posted anything regarding the next season or the supposed "events" in-between. We will see what happens. Last note, the championship game tomorrow is between Idiosyncrasy and BlackNike. Sigh to that. It will be held at 7pm Eastern for those who can make it. Personally I will not, but it might be helpful for any of you to go watch it and pick up some strategic maneuvers off their plays. In any case, I expect a much better 2nd season than our first, and hopefully we will learn to execute a plan on the playing field before another SSvsIdio happens. For now just try out some strategies, some ideas, work on your game and ask for help where it is needed. Preparation is half the game.

Well, not much news to post about. We have alot of new recruits coming in, everyone welcome them and try to get used to them=P There is alot of talk about moving/changing our webpage, which I would like to see. I've got too much to do so I probably won't be spending much time on the page myself. Instead I'm going to try to be more present during the week...three people have offered to create new webpages so I'm just waiting on them to see who actually does it/finishes first. On that note, MrPibb has mysteriously vanished. If any of you see him drop me a message, if he is inactive I will unfortunately have to axe him. Still no word on Schlep's plans for the off-season so keep checking back and I'll see what I come up with.

I still plan on putting together all of the strategy guides I can find for SS together in one archive, even if I'm not updating the webpage daily, so keep checking back and as soon as I have them all together I will put up the strategy guide section. Well, the unexpected end of our season leaves me with little relevant news to post about, so I'll just give you all the basic rundown of what is to come. First, recruiting has started for next season. Anyone and everyone you know who is a good pilot and is without squad should be spoken to. Second, the next season will start after a 3 week break, during which mixed aml events will be held (so they say...). Schlep says he will send emails out to all the captains when he has decided on the events situation so I'll post and send out squadmail as soon as I've got something. Also, I have not fully decided what to do yet, but if we can, I was leaning in the direction of moving up to IML. Although that means the loss of Black Assassin, I'm pretty sure he's leaving with falsehood and Phat anyways? Shrug. Lastly, I am still waiting on MrPibb to give me the new design for our webpage that he keeps telling me about. (Insert whining about pibb here) I'll post/mail news as it comes along.

No time just yet, but I am pointing out to everyone that we play Idiosyncrasy first round, along with a few things that will hopefully set us off on the right foot.

Everyone try to keep an eye out for their (Idiosyncrasy's) players. I know a few of them myself, but as for their playing capabilities I don't think this will be much of a test. We should be able to roll past these guys without too much trouble, so long as everyone shows and is prepared for the match. Speaking of preperation...

1. We need to work on our teamplay a bit (Same old speech? I don't give speeches, stfu fags=P) and we can start by showing to our practices, and making them worth something.
2. Practicing doesn't help at all if you aren't practicing anything. Most people in practices just go in to play. Try some strategies, some plays, etc. and put them to use in our pracs. Premier's main page has a link to dpm's strategy guide. I would recommend you all read it, it has alot of useful information that our squad could really use about practicing, strategy and teamplay. Soon I will compile a list of helps/strategy guide's for league play, so keep an eye out for it in the future.
3. I encourage you all to try to keep the right attitude during the playoffs. Our Disavowed 0-12 was purely due to lack of maturity and was totally unnecessary. Although a "Starseed strike" is a sure way to get me to do something, losing a match isn't necessarily the most effective way? Try asking.
4. Another version of 3: Try to avoid any inner-squad conflicts from arising in the future. We are a squad, we need to work together, not against each other.
5. For anything I missed (I know most of you won't read past the subject anyways) ask me in-game.
6. I will give you all the game time ASAP...they asked for 4pm est; I negotiated for 3pm est or earlier. Awaiting his (Scheme's) response now.
7. Good luck to everyone=) Let's push for an aml championship, our original goal back where it should be.

OK! I got all the stats finished and all the old game logs up, (unfortunately this all includes the exhibition game against Dis=P) including our last two games that we played yesterday. I would just like to point out that even in 3 games against Disavowed, two of which were losses and one of which we barely won, I have yet to get a negative record=P

A few changes. First, we now prac at 3pm est DAILY. It is only 15 minutes a day, one prac, I think you can all handle it. More people can show to 3pm est so I also expect to see more people show to these pracs. Also, we have weekly scrims against RaDaR now, 4pm est on Saturdays. This should make things run a little smoother and give us some good practices in preparation for this weeks Disavowed game. Everyone be here tomorrow at 3, and be here this Saturday at 4.

It is really sad to see the state of things today...if there is any woman out there who hasn't fallen into the stupidity of today's trends, you have my utmost respect. I may decide to try out addr.com due to the fact that you get free submission to search engines. Either at the end of three months we will start paying for webhosting or we will simply shut down the secondary site.
But for the time being, in anticipation of this, I will likely be overhauling the ENTIRE site. Links, layout, appearance, design, new sections, everything. I may decide to put up a poll on the best design for the page. In any case though, I'm too tired to do it now so I'll do it after I wake up and finish the day's work.
In the meantime, just prepare for Oracle X=) When we actually play together and try as a team we usually do a pretty good job of seriously trashing our enemies so we should be in good shape. Remember that basically our entire season is riding on this one game. No chokes pls.

I'm going to be doing some minor web updates in the next few days. Everyone note that your individual pages were not updated for the Disavowed match because of the Appeal, if we get the appeal your stats will not include the Disavowed game, and vice-versa. Keep an eye out for anything new on the page.
I also have an award to give out to Infernal from way back in the early days. He won a contest and the prize was to be given mid-season. I am deciding on what kind of award will go out to him, I was thinking just a "Contest award" (We will name it the Infernal award since he got it first) for the profiles/awards. Any feedback or ideas would be useful though, he's been waiting a long time for this award =)

I've already spent alot of time arguing about the scheduled time for this match, so let me say right now that we were not going to get anything better.
I need AS MANY AS POSSIBLE to show. Once again we are already down by one (MrPibb cannot show) and falsehood may also not be able to show. I don't think I have to remind anyone that this game decides which squad, Oracle X or Starseed, gets the playoff spot.

I would like to say some things to everyone. First, everyone is really edgy about the loss to Disavowed. Everyone just relax and try to have some fun, try not to fight with anyone this week and try to keep from getting too angry about the game. Remember, although Oracle X is not Disavowed by far, and we did lose to Dis purely in a fluked game, Oracle X still has a shot at beating us. We have the talent to defeat them, but what we really need right now is a Morale boost.

The top 2 teams in Virgo go head to head in a possible taster of the AML final. Starseed look strong. They have some experienced and tough pilots and are playing well together as a team. Reaem is a good captain ($$) and as long as they're not bored to death by Hed's tails of how the lost continent of Atlantis is being hidden by a huge conspiracy by the US Navy they should go deep into the playoffs. (Hed was axed for his big mouth, lol) Maybe Hed should play for Ferrum, sounds like he'd fit right in. (Hed = the a-poC of ferrum) Dis have problems. The main problem being how to win AML while making people believe they're not trying. I have a solution; play handicapped. Here's a few suggestions:
Stonecold: Play with the monitor off.
Table: Play while you imagine working at McDonalds with Underlord as your boss.
KURT: Play and check out your buff torso in the mirror at the same time.
Kurtz: Play and imagine KURT checking out his buff torso in the mirror at the same time.

Many people predicted the match to be less than a winner score of 12. That means 45+ minutes of intense dogfighting against players like stonecold, operator, and mailliw. Again, the main issue is for you people to not choke. Practice staying alive in pracs and living longer than the rest of your team against a tough pro squad, while still contributing to the game. Practice playing your best game against Disavowed while you're doing it. This match is going to be very long and drawn out, until someone chokes. Make sure it's them, not us.

STARSEED VS DISAVOWED IS BEING HELD SUNDAY AT 3PM EST
This is the most important match of the season folks. I believe we can take them. We have the talent to take them, and we have the teamwork to take them. The only thing that worries me is that someone is going to choke under the pressure. I would like you guys to get used to playing HARD opponents, like Interloper or etc...try to get in pracs with the pro squads. This will get everyone used to playing the tough teams and minimize the choking on our side.
Alot of Disavowed's roster is washed-up and rusty. All we need to take them out, is to get serious, and play smart. Do our absolute best, and we will win.
So practice up. Game is coming quickly.
Side note: I added more banners to the files section, and check out Mauler's predictions (AML Predictions link on the left). Mauler did a rank of all the squads in aml. Starseed came out as #2, just under Disavowed. Enough of this nonsense. Lets show everyone who is the boss of this league.

Web profiles updated. There were a few promoted/demoted for those of you who care (its for my knowledge mostly) and some new awards added. A few people are already looking like they are getting some of those awards.
Second, no schedule on it yet but our opponent next week is Disavowed. I was hoping for Oracle X (didn't check the season listings) but this is what we got. IF we beat Disavowed (If) we become #1 in the division. If we lose, Disavowed becomes #1 in the division, and we'll face Oracle X for second place. Losing is not an option for me.
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE SOME MORE, PRACTICE AGAIN, PRACTICE ONE MORE TIME, AND PRACTICE AGAIN WHEN YOU FINISH EATING. PRACTICE WHEN YOU WAKE UP, PRACTICE BEFORE YOU SLEEP, PRACTICE IN BETWEEN AND PRACTICE BEFORE AND AFTER. PRACTICE FOR THE HELL OF IT AND PRACTICE BECAUSE THERE ARE GOOD OPPONENTS WAITING FOR YOU. PRACTICE EVERY DAY, AND PRACTICE AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE. Try to do it as often as possible TOGETHER and BE SERIOUS. Disavowed has a good chance at beating us, so we better make sure we are ready.

Ignore my whining at the beginning about Sammie's shit. =( I was going to post the log from Starseed against Nightbane but I missed a small portion in the beginning and decided it wasn't worth the post. A few things. First of all, Dezacrator, if you read this, your email is no longer working. You need to fix it or get a new one, if your email is not valid you are not eligible to play.
Second, this week we play FlyNDeath=) WOOHOO! You all get a break to rest from the constant weekly practices against pro squads. Take my advice and use it because we will likely not get one for another month or two. Just make sure that you all can show for the match (sometime this Sunday) and that you all come back after this week has ended. We still have a dueling award to give out by the way, so...
Third, the duels left that need to take place for the dueling award:

One more thing. Apriori made a bot-statistic based player rankings page. All the records of matches are logged as usual, and Apriori came up with a scoring system to rank all the players. The points include first kill, first knockout(clutch kill), first die-out(choke), and etc. The only thing wrong with the system is that it does not record subs. But it is interesting to look at anyways. You'll be glad to see our entire squad up at the top even though we have only played 1 match as opposed to every other squad's 3. Interesting that zAiR scored second best on Starseed=) Way to go zair!
Anyway it's a good thing to look at. Look here. Any pilot that played an aml match is listed there. He has also made them for pro/iml, just change the appropriate address letters in your browser (change "aml" to "iml" or "pro").

For those of you who think they don't have to practice because this season is going to be a pushover:
We do have some good players, but getting some degree of teamwork together is our big issue right now. We practice and I see you guys splitting 1 ship in each direction. This isn't good enough to take an aml championship folks. Take a look at the lineups here. Drug Against War's rankings are fairly accurate and as a captain of a Pro team, he knows what he is talking about. Starseed was ranked 8th out of 23 squads.
I am not going to settle for 8th kiddies. Suck it up and get praccing. Matches are coming up in a week.

Just some bits of news today.
First, I have all old logs plus 2 additional logs of Starseed vs Dissent in the files section. I changed some of the links and added Mauler's predictions on the sidebar. Still looking into BBS scripting for this site...
Second, falsehood has been declared as the tournament's first advance into semifinal. Congrats to his 2-0's over Intelli and Infernal. Everyone try to get some game time in and find your dueling partner! Remember to mail me with results.
Lastly, I have turned my ex-girlfriend into a Whatever and have considered it a chapter in my life that is closed. Women who date 3-4 guys at one time, and still cannot end up in a better situation than that, are simply below me. I am no longer bothered by this loss =) I feel like I should go a-poC and call her a "peon" now =)
Word of advice guys. Women who do this do NOT appear to be bad, or they wouldn't have 2-3 guys wanting them in the first place. They look like honest, decent women. A wolf in sheep's clothing as it were. Don't ever, EVER, go after a woman if you think she could be cheating on you. The more CAPABLE she is to have multiple boyfriends the more likely she is to have them. I learned the hard way, take my advice fellas.

Neither of these two squads played in the preseason. Llamasery has returned after a season's break and if I remember correctly, they made the playoffs back then. I however think that losing Ispi to Symphony between then and now has been a big loss and Llamasery might be facing a hard season. Starseed is made of several veteran players from other squads, I have a distinct memory of the squad being from War Zone, but I'm not 100% sure. I recognize BRASIL, Dezacrator, DIESEL and Reaem from the squad's roster. Llamasery's roster is quote small (seven pilots actually) and that might become a problem as the season progresses.

At the request of Black Assassin I logged our two practice matches against Nightwatch. Players were: Me(Reaem), Black Assassin, Airwalkr, Dezecrator vs 0-3 MVP, FistS, EwokMan, and BlueTalon. Some subbed out the second match.
If you don't play the game and you try to read these logs they will be pretty confusing. I had to split up the first two logs because I got disconnected mid-prac, so the first two logs are the first practice and the third log is the second practice:

HYPERSPACE NEWS UPDATE:
HyperSpace has changed into "Black Heaven". Klache, the original development team, has changed into EDG, and is now changing into White Matter Games. The domain for their webpage has already been purchased and as yet has not been set up (the actual domain name has not been released). The game is still being worked on and is expected to be in alpha within the month. Runecaster and the rest of the team are still alive and heading it up. Two links which you might want to check out:

Draft league spreadsheet of all the players and their salary rankings. Good thing they aren't actally getting paid or I'd join and make myself a quick 3-4 mil.
What is Draft league? A new idea on league play given by Nelson to give league a fresh new style to enjoy. It works the same way as any sports draft. The draftees all signed up voluntarily to play in this league (No the signups are NOT still open) and the captains there are beginning the drafting as we speak. The captains, oddly enough, are mostly players that I've never seen play in an actual pro match. Well in any case it should be interesting. Go check out the draft sheet to see the list of players, where they were ranked for salary and which captains are going to be doing the leading.
Ok, I don't think there are any women who read this page but in case there are let me straighten this up: I don't hate women as much as I make it look=) I just got used by one of you women out there and unfortunately so far thats the best way for me to explain what happened. Im proud of you guys=) Me, zAiR (who isn't even a regular prac player), murder in the first, and looker for all 4. falsehood did great cheerleading lagged from spec=/ The last two matches were against a mix of BIA and 2 nts's. In my impatience for the upcoming season, I would like to consider holding an inner squad dueling tournament. Setting it up would be rather easy and I think it would be a good diversion from the usual "prac whenever ppl are on" routine. We would simply set up the matches and you find a time when you can play vs your opponent. The winner of the tournament would be the first squad member to win an award, the Dueling Tourney award. We would then be able to set up the members' profile pages and start recording statistics for the squad. This would also provide an opportunity for many of you (who have complained about being "just a soldier" or "just a sergeant" on the page) to move up in rank. All in all it would be an all around good idea for the squad, so anyone who wants to participate or wants to win the award mail me and depending on how many we get, we might begin the dueling!

Doesn't make sense for a team of developers go all the way to beta and suddenly end the project, does it? I will try to dig up my old zombiebobie email add from my old files so I can email him and find out. HyperSpace looked quite promising, I'd hate to see that project thrown away=(
On another note, Starseed seems to be progressing quite well. We now have a full roster of 15, with 5 possible starters and 3 possible replacement starters/subs, the rest being emergency players and practice help. The roster continues to grow (Not much further as I do not want to have to bench the majority of our team) as we get many different "maybe" players who will likely join at the end of this current pro season. I plan to get 3 additional starter-level players as backups because of players who might lag or not show. I probably will not be starting myself because I believe I can do more controlling the game from spec, but if necessary I can sub myself in and will likely be doing that if we are forced to lagsub (I don't trust any of you with 0 reps=/) Speaking of lag, I added a new award to the awards page. Go check it out=)
Another note, Starseed's homepage just made 1000 hits yesterday. I don't know who it was, but congratulations to all of us here at Starseed:) Now, lets make it to 2000 in half the time and we've got something to talk about=)

My attention has just been brought to the fact that HyperSpace links no longer work and any news source of it remains to be found.
What was HyperSpace? A game based on the similar concept of SubSpace and Asteroids with a few upgrades and some added rpg elements. Supposedly it went into alpha and then beta testing, and I, since then, have seen or heard nothing about HyperSpace or heard from or seen any of the development team or beta testers since.
What has happened? I'm not sure. It is possible that they were bought out by a larger company, or perhaps they joined with someone to work on the project more efficiently. Its possible they broke some law or copyright and got shut down. It's also possible that they simply moved their website and I am unable to find it. I do know that HyperSpace was far too progressed in its development for them all to just give up and throw the project away (atleast, in good sense and conscience.)
If anyone has news about this mail it to me or tell me about it in-game.

The overhaul is finished. No elaborate appearance changes, just modifications to the page's format. The divisions pages have been removed. Why? Because Starseed does not have any other divisions yet, no one is available and willing to command them. I have also completely removed the Miscellaneous page and made several changes to the Lishmantha page, including some removed text and re-opening it for some thoughts, a new entry, and eventually I will put up our story and a poll there on a few issues that would seem interesting (I can feel the excitement already on that issue. Expect some all-out brawls as we take opinions on the differences in relationships)
I will begin work on the continuum skin this weekend, probably Saturday night. It should be updated here on Sunday. (I have fixed the broken link on the files page to the skin, sorry about that one folks)

I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my Diablo 2 display for the menu, and I sent a letter to Blizzard staff asking for help. They responded to my mail in less than 24 hours and their simple but effective solution (download the latest drivers, lol) seated me in my previously-thought idea of Blizzard's crappy tech support. It appears their tech support is now almost effective in responding to our mail. Everyone hail Blizzard tech support for their improvement since Diablo 1. I was quite surprised.
On another note, Starseed now has several new members and has a decent startline. Check our roster to see new additions. Aml watch out, your about to get run down by a bunch of disgruntled pro and iml pilots!

Recruiting seems to be going ok. Rosters page is fully updated again, I will be revamping the page soon to function better for the squad. As for our league position I am contacting Seph so wait for word on that. Best thing for all of us to do right now is play alot with your squadmates and get to know each other. Practice 4v4 as often as possible together and recruit when you can.
On a side note, History and Lishmantha now seem to work fine. Geocities is crap, but they aren't entirely useless yet it seems. The pages were only down for 4 days=) I will be updating our continuum skin soon as well, so expect alot in the next week or so, as soon as I get the time to do all of it.

New news: in lack of our roster I'm going to try to get the old DY/Unforeseen gang back together and take them into premier. Possibly warzone if we could, but we need a roster. I am confident that if we get three or four of them together we can turn that old team into a powerhouse. We all come from the same background, and many of the members of the old DY crew have the talent, they just don't know how to use it. This is exactly the kind of team I was looking for. Sounds good? Again, more damned setbacks. God himself appears to be against us. My computer itself has now stopped running and as yet I am unable to see why. I will continue to try to run things from outside the loop but I need to set up a new system to do so. I may have to suspend activity in certain leagues depending on our situation. Starseed vs Nightbane, 3v3: Starseed 7-0. GG's Nightbane=) $$ Starseed!
I've practiced in prem for awhile and my old techniques are coming back to me. MVP'd 4 pracs in a row, learning again how to win on a losing team. Went 7-1, 4-1, 5-2, etc. Vs decent players...Trav, however, must have been drunk, died out 0-3 in 5 minutes...is that the real Travis? I wonder. Anyhow, a bunch of old squaddies of mine from the old dueling squad Viruses went into DZ yesterday and stormed all over the zone. Red Virus got himself a 1300+ bounty, 38 kills in a row was his record I believe. Blue Virus never actually went over 1000. You can always try again later, Blue=) I went to 31 kills and got thrown into a swarm while typing, losing all my hard work=/ (1150 I think) After that we had managed to get quite a hunting party on our tails and couldn't get much past 15 kills without losing one. You might have seen me as Elite Virus=) Ahh yes, the fun we had in the old days.
Anyhow, back to main issues. We still need a few more warzone league players to be on the safe side. Some of our roster is composed of duelers, premier players, and the like. We need more hardcore warzoners. Keep sending them to me, were almost there.

Seems that we have made an important discovery. Starseed, as a 3v3 team, pretty much owns. Me(Reaem), Air, and KOoba1 went in for a few games and played undefeated for about 10 games straight. We literally demolished the opposition, and destroyed everything that got in our way. These were decent players too, I was really surprised at the results of our efforts. But enough about 3v3, lets concentrate on what we need here. Wzl is fast approaching. We seem to have a stable roster of players who are decent flaggers. We also seem to have a decent 4v4 lineup if we can ever get all 4 of those players on at the same time. The important thing here, however, is to keep practicing. Anyone can be as good as Travis if they get serious about the game and practice as often as possible, study the game's workings, and learn to strategize. Hopefully, we will practice enough to get to that level. I'd like to see Starseed take Intrepid someday, though that might seem a bit far off=) Practice makes perfect guys. And keep referring people to me for recruiting!

NEW HOLIDAY IS BORN! 4 Starseed's showed together at one time, all fully members and all full access to premier, in a practice vs Symphony! Starseed's first squad practice ladies and gentlemen.
Starseed: dlflybooy(0-3), Diesel(0-3), Infernal(2-3), Reaem(1-2)
Symphony: Peeking Duck?(3-0), Ispi(1-0), kindness(5-1), pain.com(2-2)
Key points:
Early on Starseed got a fluke kill against pain.com making it 1-0 Starseed. Thats when Starseed began to get smashed, Symphony came back with 3 kills in a row, losing kindness on the last kill, making the score 3-2. From there, Diesel and dlflybooy choked out making it 6-2 with both Infernal and Reaem 1-0 2v4. Infernal and Reaem did their best against the odds but soon both of them died as they got cornered in the bottom right. They worked their way to try to kill kindness again, but Infernal got a fluke kill against pain.com before dying again. Starseed then targetted pain.com trying to make it 2v3, but Infernal died again leaving Reaem 1-1 1v4. Reaem suicides his second life and calls the game when re-spawning. Final score 11-3 Symphony.

THE REMATCH! Symphony had 1 nts, a suicidal dentist, for this game and Chika was out here too.

Starseed comes back with Reaem killing the repless asd, tying the game at 4-4. Infernal follows the push by killing Chika, and Diesel by killing pain.com. Things were looking good for Starseed, but the two teams seperated and regrouped again for another go. This time Symphony pushed in and Diesel died to Chika, dlflybooy died to pain.com, both their last life making it 2v4 again. Sound familiar? Tied up at 7-7 2v4, Reaem and Infernal have to kill anyone but Chika to bring it down to 2v3, but to no avail, Symphony used their man advantage well and trapepd both of them in corners, killing them each once. The two regrouped, tried again, but Reaem's work did no good as asd used his last life's last repel to push him into pain.com's ammo. Reaem out and Infernal on his own, with 2 lives, Infernal kept pushing the 1v4 hoping to make it easier taking them each out one at a time leaving a duel with Chika. Infernal is trapped again, however, and dies twice to make the final score 12-7 Symphony.

Next, a final rematch vs Symphony. Could Starseed, a band of newbies from assorted zones, get a victory over an established aml squad, just one before the night is over?

Chika kills asd for the tie, and Diesel gets killed out by moorhawk to even things up a bit. 3-3, Chika and pain.com try to double-team Reaem and Reaem easily destroys the both of them making them look like fools, and Chika kills Infernal after the re-spawn. Infernal quckly responds by killing Chika out, and Symphony kills asd in another portion of the map, leaving the game 9-8 Starseed 2 on 2. The game gets drawn out for a long time of 2v2 before Reaem has to burn all of his specials because of a lagout, and gets killed by pain.com. Tied at 9-9, Reaem responds by destroying moorhawk to make it 10-0, when Infernal gets killed out by pain.com. Trying to make his revenge, Infernal rushes at pain.com and they kill EACH OTHER out, leaving it 11-11, Reaem with a duel vs moorhawk, and Reaem with no specals left. Reaem works moorhawk over for somewhere around a half hour, ridding him of his specials with skillful movement and manipulation. Finally in the end, moorhawk rockets at Reaem and Reaem dodges the bullets, mines, and moorhawk dies out leaving the score 12-11 Starseed.
Excellent! We defeated a squad on the Tier above us! Way to go guys!

Finally, Starseed played a first match against bloodlust, that I'm not even gonna mention. Against my wishes the squad played Bloodlust and ended up 0-12, exactly as I predicted=) Rather amusing tho. Since the arena was empty after that, I decided to jump in and play a final prac against bloodlust. A suicide mission? Maybe. But we did manage to get some impressive results for a Spring team who plays warzone, against a Pro squad:
Starseed: dlflybooy(0-3), Kansas(1-3), Legacy(2-3), Reaem(2-3)
Bloodlust: 3(6-2), Backstabbed(0-1), Tragon(2-2), Travis(3-0)
Key points:
Starseed tried to give itself a handicap by using Legacy as a nts, but unfairly, Bloodlust uses Travis, the games top player (imo). Quite a help having another experienced pro player on the Starseed side, and Travis didn't quite live up to expectations. The only key points are Backstabbed died to Kansas, Tragon died to Reaem, Legacy was teamkilled by Kansas (lol), and Legacy killed 3 before the end of the match. Reaem went out in style by killing 3 as 3 killed him=) Final score 12-5 Bloodlust.
GREAT!! You guys performed VERY WELL against an obviously outmatched opponent.

Ok, kids. First the bad news. WZL season is officially open. We have a roster of about 7 real players, and some of them haven't been in wz for awhile. We have a few who are considering joining and a few from non-wz squads who might play for us. Most of the members I recruited however, are not hardcore warzoners. What can we do? I need all of you Starseed members to get back in warzone, and start spending most of your time there. Whether it be to watch other teams play, recruit more members or actually play in the zone itself, we need you out there people. Your mere presence in the zone will strengthen our position enough to encourage new members to join. Anyone you know who does not yet play warzone and anyone you know who doesn't have a wzl squad, we need them on our roster. I can't do most of the recruiting myself since I cannot be here from 5-11pm est, prime time for the hardcore warzoners. I need you guys to do most of the work in the recruiting department. If you see someone, talk to them, ask them to join, refer them to our webpage and tell them to email me.
Now, the good news. In our current position, we can only improve from here. Lol. Good luck guys, I'll be doing my share with what little time I have.

Raeam asked me to head up the Diablo 2 division and since I have been playing for a few weeks I thought why the hell not. It would be nice to have a few guys to mil around with. Anyway, I haven't been able to find a bot that works on bnet yet, as we all know, or may not know, bnet disabled bots.. Supposedly to reduce lag. :/ Doesn't matter, I know there are bots out there, it's just a matter of finding them. Right now I'm sitting with D2 classic, I know, I know, get the ex, haven't beaten the first one yet, chuckle. Here's the deal; we meet in channel FS Gaming - I already have a gang from work who play there - so I'll continue using that channel. There you have it. I will not be posting further excerpts here so if you plan on playing in the D2 division you'll have to keep up to date here. This will only be the central hub of Starseed news. My D2 account is Reaem, and my characters are: Reaem(Paladin), Lishreaem(Necromancer), and Lishmantha(Sorceress). The paladin is the one I most often use, but lately I've been trying to level up the others on my off time. In any case I cannot bounce between all of that and SubSpace AND keep the squad going at the same time, while still trying to balance real life into the mix. This is why I need other people to head the other divisions=) Thank Velo for his generosity.
On another note, dlflybooy, a newbie to the world of 4v4, was just 2-0 and holding his own against Premier's mainstray practice pilots when I logged off. How did he improve so much so quickly? I don't know. But you can expect great things out of a pilot with this level of potential, and you can all learn from his example. Keep up the good work=)

Raeam asked me to head up the Diablo 2 division and since I have been playing for a few weeks I thought why the hell not. It would be nice to have a few guys to mil around with. Anyway, I haven't been able to find a bot that works on bnet yet, as we all know, or may not know, bnet disabled bots.. Supposedly to reduce lag. :/ Doesn't matter, I know there are bots out there, it's just a matter of finding them. Right now I'm sitting with D2 classic, I know, I know, get the ex, haven't beaten the first one yet, chuckle. There you have it. I will not be posting further excerpts here so if you plan on playing in the D2 division you'll have to keep up to date here. This will only be the central hub of Starseed news. My D2 account is Reaem, and my characters are: Reaem(Paladin), Lishreaem(Necromancer), and Lishmantha(Sorceress). The paladin is the one I most often use, but lately I've been trying to level up the others on my off time. In any case I cannot bounce between all of that and SubSpace AND keep the squad going at the same time, while still trying to balance real life into the mix. This is why I need other people to head the other divisions=) Thank Velo for his generosity.
On another note, dlflybooy, a newbie to the world of 4v4, was just 2-0 and holding his own against Premier's mainstray practice pilots when I logged off. How did he improve so much so quickly? I don't know. But you can expect great things out of a pilot with this level of potential, and you can all learn from his example. Keep up the good work=)

Good news everybody! Our labors are finally starting to pay off. Velosity, one of Starseed's original 5 and longest-lasting member, has now worked out a deal with some friends of his that could mean hosting for Starseed. What does this mean? You can expect to see our webpage become Starseed.com or Starseedhq.com (whatever domain we can come up with) sometime in the future, as well as having our own private subspace zone put up for training! Everyone sing the praises of Velosity, as once again he has surprised us all with his sudden return and breakthrough.

I missed the practices two nights in a row. Sorry about that I've been staying late for work, I hope you started without me just fine. Expect to continue the practices again tomorrow (Friday). Be there at 1am (I suppose thats actually Saturday morning). Also I decided to record all my day to day thoughts relating to Lishmantha in a log. None of you are expected to read it because it doesn't pertain to Starseed=). But if your bored, go there and read the deepest, innermost thoughts of the human soul.
Quick update: I once again can't make the prac because I watch children from 11pm-3am friday nights now. Saturday night is FOR SURE, so be there an hour after midnight to prac with the squad=). Everyone should be able to make saturday night unless real life gets in the way, and all except me on friday nights. Be there and practice in premier if you can.

All you guys out there, I want you to read Lishmantha from the link on the sidebar. A personal experience I share in part, just wrote things down as it came to my head but it teaches a lesson. Girls, if you read it, just replace "she" with "he"=) It is a reminder to all those still waiting, that there is a reason you wait.
Now back to Starseed. Congrats to everyone who showed up last night=) We did manage to take a rather severe beating in Premier but we cashed in on a fat warzone jackpot of about 25k, I started our own frequency, 3 members present and the squad earned itself 75000 points. Good job guys! That will move Starseed up probably more than one slot in the point sort. Now, work on your 4v4=)
One more thing. Looking at the point sort here, you can see TWO, count them, TWO seperate Starseed listings. Why? Because one of the members scored so many points he made it into the top 30 SQUADS by himself. It would greatly help us all, however, if you SPELLED THE SQUADNAME RIGHT (case sensitive) so we are all listed together under one large score! If we all have different spellings we will never make it to the top. Starseed, just like that. Very amusing to see our squad listed twice though=)

Practices in Premier are now being held at 1:00am Eastern time, EVERY DAY. The most active members are on during that time slot, so we will start going 4v4. Once we get into the habit of practicing, we will start running plays. I hope you all have the ability to learn them as we won't get far if you don't:)More later on that. But, now for the humor:
Betrayal's matches are always classics as far as humor goes. Here are some of the details, quoted off Premier League's webpage:
"5tonecold and Aurora comes in hoping the save the day. But shows us nothing but the way they cheaply won Requiem. TURRET TIME. Trademark!" The infamous Betrayal turret, at its best. Good idea 5tonecold. It seems that 5tonecold didn't realize that this isn't Req, this is Intrepid. They actually use teamwork and trap their opponents. OOPS! All 3 of betrayal in one spot = ez money. Dune crushes the entire turret with one bomb, killing all three of them. Another quote:
"Just over 30 lines of "LOL" "HAHAHA"'s when Dune's bomb raped the turret." Had I been there, I'd have made that 31. Nothing is funnier than a betrayal match. Intrepid made them look like fools, the final score was 12-2 and one of those 2 was Wind, intentionally dying so he could ship change to a weasel. LOL, when your handing deaths over to your opponents in pro, thats just pathetic. Better luck next time Bet's.
On another note, the Aetherwind vs Master match in AML was pretty much the same kind of one sided-destruction you saw with Betrayal. Quote from, you guessed it, Premier's website:

We need commanders/players for the following games:Cosmic Rift, CounterStrike,Diablo,Diablo2,Infantry,Starcraft. Commanders basically own the organizations division of that game, so you'll have to do your own recruiting, and will be in charge of everything that happens as the commander. If any of you play Counterstrike, BP is willing to command if he gets enough players together. So talk to him if that is the case.

Webpages are all set up. Although many of the links are not in their final form, atleast for now they all function. What I need most right now is players to start signing up for the various jobs I require. We need recruiting, squad control, and intelligence the most right now. Recruting is best for a people person, someone who goes on and talks to everyone more than play. Squad control anyone can do, simply just organize the squad and get the players best times to prac and bring them together in premier to get some games in. Work on their strategy. Intelligence requires a very specific kind of person, someone who plays nothing but that type of game and plays it ALOT. Someone who gets very serious about it and keeps track of everything that goes on in every league and zone, we need a person like us to give us information on our opponents and also to assist each of the council members with information. To be intel all you need to do is know everything and be there to answer questions. Also, we need more commanders, or someone to take the expansion position on council. Starseed is only being held up here by a lack of time and work. We need to expand and let our rosters interact, letting players find what they're really good with. If you can fill any of these positions mail me.

Couldn't bear to let this go unnoticed. Pusheads prediction about the ReDS vs Bulletproof match:
Oberic, stop the insanity! Someone's going to think you're trying to win a championship or something. ReDS IML CHAMPIONS? LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT? IT IS *VERY* POSSIBLE. Many of these old geezers have been flying together for years and play a very calm, calculated game, with Oberic at the helm. A nice mix of lag and teamwork will keep Masterlord's big, strong hands full. Make no mistake, Masterlord and his group of scrumptious teenage boys will put up a long, hard struggle but in the end will take it in the rear, something they are all too familiar with. And what a way to go!

ReDS have been around forever, led by the infamous Arbitrage himself. You might remember him from the WaspQuest story I just posted/removed here recently. It's true; most of ReDS are 40-50 year old men. Surprised? I'm not, I almost destroyed ReDS when I joined them as a part-time member four years ago, and boy, have those old men sure made a comeback. Most of them now play Cosmic Rift, but if you show for the ReDS match you never know, you might see Arbitrage, or Kraydl, or Rak'kar...wouldn't that be somethin? Always a good idea to keep track of the ReDS.

Pardon the big mess, but I am unable to finish a very large webpage overhaul. As a result the page has many missing links. If you see a problem OTHER than a web link that doesn't work, please mail me immediately. I am in the middle of a lot of home issues, so the overhaul may have to wait a few days. All of the older links, however, should be updated and working properly. As a side note to the existing members, it seems that Premier League simply cannot have us completely destroying the few poor Spring teams that remain, most likely in fear of them quitting altogether after such a destructive loss. So we may have to wait quite awhile before our first Spring match. So, out of sheer boredom for the members, I have decided to sign us up for dueling zone league, and whatever other assorted small leagues we can squeeze into (If you would like to request a league, mail me). The larger leagues (warzone, aswz, powerball, etc.) are out of the question for now. We cannot front the required large number of players per week to play in such leagues. SO, in anticipation of our first dueling season I'd like all of you to get some dueling practice in. As a personal dueling veteran I can train you all in the dynamics and strategy of dueling, and the two vs. two league-style game itself, so if you need help catching up to those already experienced in dueling ask me and we can set up some lessons. Keep in mind that any strategies, moves or techniques I teach you will only work if you can actually HIT an enemy ship with your ammo, so try to spend some time practicing alone.

Happy birthday to me! I turned 20 today. Yes, 20. I'm officially over the hill. I haven't really had anything to do, like, at all, in the past few weeks so instead of spending money for life issues, I bought a new computer chair (the old was was broken), a new monitor (fixed the infamous "GOD DAMNIT MY MONITOR'S RED GUN IS FRITZING AGAIN!!!" problem), and more ram for my system (upgraded from 32mb to 256mb, the difference is INCREDIBLE, and only 60$!). I will probably spend the rest of my life at the computer. *cough* Well who needs the real world anyways.

Arg, I must be drunk or something. Logged on for a few quick warzone games and got crushed, 8-10 rec. I realized I couldn't concentrate and decided to cut my losses=) So, I'll be updating the webpage for awhile. On another note, everyone try to show early on Sunday, say around noon, I'm gonna try to get a practice for the squad set up. This won't be too serious, its just to get you all familiarized with 4v4. Later on we will be implementing alot of strategies and using plays, but for now most of you don't even know how to play. Finally we are set up for Spring. The people listed on the roster's page are those listed in the Spring league database. If you are not listed there, you will not be eligible to play, so contact me immediately. A bit more worth mentioning is the fact that due to there being only 3 teams left in Spring League, Seph has suspended activities. Way to go Spring League! (*yawns*) I'll try to set us up some matches in the meantime off the record as a practice round, so expect to still be playing Sunday. I have confirmed it with the Premier admins, ALL active Starseed members now have access to Premier. Get in there and get some 4v4 practice, your gonna need it.

Squad filter was today. Password has been changed and ownership transferred from Solacriss to Reaem, to make things easier. I had about 20 different aliased/old members and 8 new active ones. Members who checked their email already knew about this; if you are not on and wish to be re-added, just contact me. You're all still technically on our roster, just needed to filter out the old aliases that no one remembers to keep the list down. This is NOT a big deal:) I will probably be doing this regularly for the next few months until we have a more stable player base. Also, I'd like to remind everyone that although Spring League does not carry any teamed combinations of Trixter, babamonkey, JeffP and Arbitrage, there IS alot of undiscovered talent in the league. Jumping into CZ and seeing a player from "Keggers", our last weeks opponent, have a record of something around 1206-300 and a 109 ave is a very solid reminder of this. Spring IS a place for new squads to enter, but keep in mind that not all of these new squads have new players. Make sure you know what you all are doing before you jump in and expect a 12-0 shutout. Practice up and stay sharp.

Everyone welcome new members: Rasputin!, Vitutus... and KOoba1. Squad email was sent out today, good idea to read that asap. On another note, things seem to be picking up as far as the squad goes largely due to the fact that I now have spare time to put into it:) I will contact league admins in dueling zone and whatever other zones the players request to get us going in those leagues. For now I'm keeping us out of warzone league because we don't have the consistency to push our way into it just yet, its better to wait until we have more players than the bare minimum. As soon as our roster reaches about 20 or so, I'll contact Mrs. Perkins on getting us a place in wzl. Squad banners are included in the last squad email due to the fact that one of the members could not download them properly from the website. If any of you have this problem please contact me and include the error message your computer gave you.

Alot of changes to the page over the last 24 hours. Right now it closely resembles its finished form, minus the member's board for match scheduling and playbook. I also have a midi version of Our Lady Peace's Starseed which I thought about imbedding into the page, but it sounds like crap, just doesn't do the real song justice. On another note, Sephiroso has been AFB for the last few days so there is no match this Sunday. Take the extra week to practice up because theres no avoiding this one, next Sunday we will return to Spring league.

Starseed will be playing Spring league, officially. Matches set up soon. Anyone who shows is guarunteed play time due to the small size of the roster, so heres your chance to show off your skills. Time will be posted here as soon as Sephiroso sets up the next match. I may decide to use our season's pp for our first match to get us an extra week to get things together. OK. Starseed IS in Spring League. This means MATCHES EVERY SUNDAY, 4v4 played in a premier league-style fashion. I'm not clear as to the individual rules and settings for Spring as opposed to the premier standard, so I'll email you all on any rule changes you need to know. I've gotten our roster line changed and Innoc should be checking our start lines as soon as possible. We missed our first match and lost to no-show, so lets try to get 4 players next week. Expect to see new recruits and lots of new changes, including a playbook and weekly meetings to discuss strategy. For now, just get into premier and try to get some practice in. I'm not giving any of you the start lines because its a good chance half our team won't make it to the first match so for now its probably going to be the four players that show. Time/opponent has not been announced just yet, expect to know by Thursday. I'll see you all at game time. Oh and one more thing. As far as I can see, the webpage appears to be fixed. Mail me if it still looks sloppy on your browser. Overhaul expected soon.

Ok, after a long period of computer downtime I have returned to bring starseed back to its functional status. Webpage overhauls are going to have to wait, but I do have alot of free time from now until next fall, so we should be seeing alot of improvement soon. Another webpage overhaul. Its not perfect yet and I still have alot of work to do, but I think today I really took a step forward in design. Also, I have begun signing Starseed up for leagues. Starting with warzone, mainly because most of our pilots come from the zone, we will soon expand to pro, and after we have established ourselves as a force in the zones we will move on from there. We still need to do a small amount of recruiting to compensate for no-shows and lag (We can't all be Sika, but we try our best) but we should be ok on our own for scheduled matches. In the end, we will have a division in each league, each with its own captain and group of players. Most likely we will not be moving onto another game until then, but no promises about that one yet. It really depends mostly on where our players go and how quickly everything moves along. Expect another jump in webpage design by this weekend, probably by friday night.

Major webpage update. All players listed are currently active in Starseed. Those who are missing may email [email protected] to get their names added to the list if you have been recruited into the organization. Also, it has been brought to my attention that players are being recruited without authorization/notification. If this continues I may have to change the password and begin to limit the recruiting. Remember, Leutenants are allowed ONLY ten recruits of their own, and that becomes their unit. Also you MUST notify me of who you are recruiting. As I've said before, you may make changes to your unit as you see fit, so long as you notify me of those changes.
