The Good Ship Fable-S-A is a highly modified Sovereign class Starship, commissioned in 2365. She has 42 decks in her Stardrive and is 611 metres in length. Her standard crew compliment is around 800. 165 Officers, 515 Enlisted, and 222 Civilians, but can carry up to 4,500 in emergency situations.
There are 4 main Holodecks on Deck 11. In addition, there are 20 smaller, personal Holographic Simulator Rooms on decks 12 and 23.
Engineering Facilities
The Engineering department, under the direction of the Chief Engineering Officer, is primarily located in the lower Stardrive Section.
The engineers watch over the engine cores and are responsible for main power to the nacelles for impulse and warp speeds. This also to the shields and cloaking systems. Further, this also to the nav deflector.
The Main Engineering control center on Deck 36 serves as a master control for the ship's warp propulsion system, as well as the impulse propulsion system and other engineering systems. Main Engineering also serves as a backup in the event of failure on the Main Bridge and the Battle Bridge. Work stations at this location can be reconfigured to use as Conn, Ops, Tactical, and other command operations. This is the best site for such functions because of it's protected location within the Engineering sections and it's proximity to key warp propulsion system components.
The engineering section also houses the main computer core for the entire ship. The crew interface software is Lcars. The access memory speed is 4,600 kiloquads per second. The number of dedicated modules is 2,048 and the storage capacity module is 630,000 Kiloquads. In the final refit the ship was equipped with a Phasic Cloaking Device.
