| The area shown here represents a non working urban interchange serving sevral warehouses. The tracks are embeded in Smooth It. I plan to add a DC auto reversing module to make the switcher shown here spot the car at the ware house adn stop at the passenger station then reverse back to the warehouse as a form of animation for the area. At the very top right of the "satalite" style picture you can see the begining section of the 4% grade to Cornish, ME on the Mountain Divison of the MEC. The grade runs along the entire top section of the layout and will have a gravel pit or simmilar industry when complete. |
| Below is a small town on the layout. The side walk in the picture is actually N scale Woodland sencic road bed cut and contoured to fit the topography of the road. There is a stack of broken ceiling tiles in the back of the picture on the left that will soon be used to represent the rock wall on the back of the layout that is elevated about 4" and will represent Cornish ME and the terminus of the Cornish Intermodal Corparation (CIC). For a peek at the CIC's story please visit my new site which I will be transitoning to as time allows. The new site is the Ossipee and Merrimack Divison of the Maine Central and can be reached by clicking this link Please use you browsers Back button as I have not yet fully linked the two sites. |
