HOUSE OF PAYNE INTERNATIONAL

About Me

Valentine's Day, 2005. It's all about the love. Hi. My name is John, and I am a poli sci grad student at MIT. Before coming out east, I attended BYU, where I earned a BA in international politics and an MA in international studies. (My major fields at MIT are international relations and security studies, for those of you who were wondering if I've kept the "international" theme.) When I grow up, I want to teach political science, and I think I may do some time as a government employee. But I'm going to make the big bucks, one way or another.

As you might guess from my choice of undergraduate schools, I am indeed LDS, and I do come from a large family. My parents live in Huntsville, Texas, where my father works for Sam Houston State and my mother writes books. My sister Sara lives in Phoenix with her husband, Adam, and their three children. Samuel lives in San Diego with his wife and two children. Daniel is building houses, also in Phoenix. James and his fiancee are going to school in Provo. And David is serving a Spanish-speaking mission in Anaheim, California.

Now, if this brief history didn't have enough information for you, feel free to read the story of my life. If you are looking for more numbers, charts, tables, and other important figures, check here for my vital statistics. If you are curious about my studies, you might want to examine my research agenda. If you wonder what to get me for my birthday, peruse my wish list. And if you still want more, just email me and I'll be happy to make up answers to any questions you might have.
