Programming Setup Codes for Your Device

In order to get your remote to control a new device, you must program in a specific setup code for your device.  Your remote comes with a number of setup codes already pre-programmed into it.  If none of them work, you can use your JP1 interface to add a new setup code to your remote so that it will control your new device.

Before going through the process of adding a new setup code to your remote, you should first see if any of the pre-programmed setup codes work.

Did you try all of the setup codes listed in the remote’s manual for the specific brand of the device you wish to control?
