So you want to know more about me... Well I guess that's fair, and I promise to keep it short. After all we've got plenty of time to get to know each other while out riding.
After growing up in Cleveland Ohio, I moved to St. Louis and met Rose Ann (my wife) my first first day in town at the Brentwood Ice Rink. After a short time, around six weeks, we were shopping for wedding rings. In 1981 Rose Ann and I were married. Twenty-five years later, we are still in love and enjoy our time together.
Since this is my bicycle page, I mine-as-well bring that up. After trying several sports together, ice skating, racket ball, and archery, we finally found bicycling. For many years we had different styles, I liked to ride fast and far, while Rose Ann enjoyed shorter slower paced rides. We purchased a very nice tandem, a Santana Sovereign back in 2001 and that made cycling together much more enjoyable.
During the summer of 2005, my wife discovered she could ride faster and climb hills faster than she ever had previously, and the tandem remained parked. We rode our single bikes together most of the summer and fall. Now she prefers riding side by side, so she might just join us for a ride too.
