My name is Josh Jakob, and I live in Newton, MA, a suburb of Boston.  I am 17 years old, and effective June 4th 2003, a high school graduate!  I have been interested in Commercial Aviation for over 7 years.  When I'm able to, I visit Logan Airport, only 12 miles from my house, to spot, take pictures, and collect timetables and other airline memorabilia.  But 9/11 changed everything for us interested in planes, so I can only do so much.  There used to be a group called the New England Airline Society that I was part of, but it dissolved a few years back.  Currently I am co-founder of the yahoo group Boston Logan Int'l Airport.  My other interests are playing the baritone horn, helping out in school and around the community, trains and public transportation, and spending time with my best friends.
