The 1st Marine Division Party Band, also know as "Earthquake", is a small mobile group that gets its audience up on its feet, clapping, dancing, and singing along. The Party Band consists of approximately ten Marines. They perform a variety of music from jazz and 50's rock and roll, to funk and the modern Top 40. The Party band performs several times a year at events such as receptions, military reunions, conventions, and high school assemblies around the country. In 2002, the Party Band did several daily performances at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Whatever the occasion, their flamboyant style, great playing, singing, and dancing are sure to thrill audiences wherever they go.
