| In May, 2000, Cedar Point unleashed the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, and they called it Millennium Force. Standing at a record-blasting 310 feet high, Millennium Force has changed the skyline of Cedar Point forever. It was also the world's first "giga-coaster", meaning coaster that is taller than 300 feet and is faster than 90 miles per hour. It was also the first roller coaster to use the use the cable system |

| of using a regular chain, Millennium Force has a sled that carries the train up to the top and over. Reaching a maximum speed of 93 miles per hour, and not to mention the two tunnels, this baby's a doozy. No trip to the Point is complete without at least one ride on Millennium Force. |
