education/formation: He would have the "First Letters" ["Primeiras Letras"].

profession/activities: Probably, he was an agriculturist.

religion/brotherhoods: Certainly, he was roman apostolic catholic.

diverse: Some documents of the Documental Asset [Fundo] of the "Casa dos Contos" indicate that in the region of the Serro Frio, MG, Brazil, the presence of a "Manoel Pereira Barros", paying taxes over slaves, the "capitação", in the Villages [Arraiais] of Tejuco, Gouveia, and Rio do Peixe, between 1735 and 1741. Only much later, in the years of 1805 and 1806 appeared payments of tithes over the agricultural production, in the Prince Town [Vila do Príncipe], in the Village [Arraial] of Rio do Peixe, and in the place denominated as Moranga, in the name of a "Manoel Pereira de Barros". Could it be the samem person, 70 years later? It seems little probable. It is impossible to say if Manoel Pereira Barros came to Brazil, without a detailed examination of documents.

residence: We prefer to believe that he continued to live in the city of Oporto [Porto] [?], Province of Douro [Província do Douro], Portugal.

children: (1 or +): José Pereira Bomjardim (senior).
