Creating and developing innovative product design concepts, and specifications that optimize the function, aesthetics, value, ergonomics, user interface, and appearance of consumer products. Creating product design solutions encompassing strategic planning, branding and product positioning /research activities.

Strong visual communication skills -- via quick sketching and computer graphic tools, with competent CAD skills in Solidworks and demonstrable skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, Pro-E. Alisa and Rhino. Language skill, including fluent Mandarin Chinese and working knowledge of Japanese, enables me to communicate effectively with clients� OEM sources in East Asia.

Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing-driven design issues: contributing to design, analysis, documentation and testing of ID concepts, designs, and details. I have acquired the mechanical aptitude, along with thorough understanding of materials and processes, especially in plastics and sheet metal, for creating mechanical and engineering specifications. Ability to create/read complex drawings and various 3D databases, including file formats in dxf, stl, and iges. Conducting design audits that ensure the final design meets the marketing requirements, quality and cost goals, product specifications, and achieves world-class standards of aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability.

Ability to drive cross-functional development efforts: participating in cross-functional teams, consultants and OEM teams as necessary to create and establish strategic design directions and deliver outstanding products into production.
