Ah well - here goes... I'm a 23 year old studying for a PhD at Oxford University
I'm studying the behaviour of Solar System objects in the department of Theoretical Physics under the supervision of Dr. Wyn Evans. I'm at Lincoln College, where I play football for both the JCR second team and the MCR team.
I come originally from Outwood, a village inbetween Wakefield and Leeds in West Yorkshire, but now my parents have moved to the Isle of Skye, so I guess thats my new home (when I'm not in Oxford of course). I did my first degree at Durham (as you can tell be all the stuff on the other pages :P), where I got a 2:1 MSci. degree in Physics and Astronomy.
Due to complaints by a certain, un-named individual, here is the alternative me page since this page is allegedly too 'trite' and out of keeping with the rest of the site.
In the summer of 1999, I did a placement at Armagh observatory in Northern Ireland, which I enjoyed and which gave me many ideas which are being followed up as I start my PhD.
The research I'm doing is discussed in greater detail here, and hopefully any papers I write will be available for download here too :)
I also work on a very part time basis for an excellent company called Euphony communications. If you've been to their site and want more information, or just have random things to tell me, mail me :)
