YWAM Livingstone training
Understanding YWAM jagon!
     OUTREACH
This kind of Field Assignment is usually a team outreach in which students and staff participate in ministry together. The staff model a small part and support the students as they seek to apply what was leanrt in the lecture phase.

INTERNSHIP
This kind of Field Assignment is student driven. The student consults with the School Leader about the Internship options to find the most appropriate one. The key determinants are the students vision, calling, and abilities. The intern serves under a ministry leader who is qualified in the area in which the student needs mentoring and hands-on training.
DTS and IBC are both Schools that are followed by and outreach of 8 to 12 weeks. The SCPL, SBS, and the TBSS are followed by an Internship of 8 to 12 weeks. The internship can be done anywhere in the world but withing the current year.
    SEMINARS

University of the Nations Seminars satisfy the 50 hour-week condition and last 1 to 6 weeks. They can be done before DTS but credit will only be given for a maximum of 12 weeks in seminars. Credit cannot be gained for a portion of a UofN School offered as Seminar together with the School (there is a law of the Medes and Persians concerning "double dipping"!).
SPECIAL TOPICS
When there is enough interest, YWAM Livingstone has ran Special Topics in Systematic Theology. A six-week crush course for people grapling with the theological needs of churches
