PILSEN FOOD COOP GUIDELINES
MEMBERSHIP
Member households will be those who sign the membership
contract form and pay the deposit, which shall be $15 for the first adult
in the household and $5 for each adult thereafter. An adult is defined
as anyone 12 years old, or older. New memberships must be approved via
the email mailing list.
DISTRIBUTION
CO-OP order distribution will be held every fourth Wednesday from
6:30pm-7pm at Lincoln Methodist Church, 2009 W. 22nd Place, unless
otherwise designated. People without other assigned tasks should help
sort all the products into piles of individual orders before leaving.
That helps prevent mistakes and distribute work.
MEMBER RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Each household is responsible for volunteering to do
CO-OP tasks. There is no paid staff for the CO-OP.
If you have no
regularly assigned task, it is your responsibility to regularly
contact people who do and offer to assist. That way we ensure that
everyone understands the operation of the CO-OP and work is fairly
distributed.
See other rights & responsibilities.
GENERAL MEETINGS
A general meeting of the membership will be held every
six months. The purpose of this meeting will be to review progress and
discuss changes if necessary.
NORTH FARM CATALOGS
The catalog is available by subscription directly from
