Each member household has a share in the Co-op which guarantees that household voting rights on decisions effecting the Co-op if the household they belong to has ordered and fulfilled member work position obligations for at least 4 months prior to the vote in question.
Each member household has the right to order food for their household at the designated time each month.
Each member household has the right to withdraw from the Co-op at any time at which time their deposit will be reimbursed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Each member household has the responsibility to participate in the work of the CO-OP.
All households are responsible for picking up their food and paying in full on distribution day.
All households are to send at least one representative to membership meetings.
All households are responsible for paying a mark-up to be decided by the membership. The mark-up will primarily be used to make a donation to Lincoln Methodist Church, but also to pay for miscellaneous operating fees, supplies, and taxes. In addition, percentage of each total household order will be added to each invoice to pay the relevant proportion of the taxes, equity, delivery fees of the order. Members are encouraged to donate or loan supplies to the coop to keep costs minimal, but the CO-OP will purchase any additional supplies needed.
