Ingredients 2 cups of flour 1 large egg 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed 12 oz. M&M candies 2/3 cup white sugar
Method Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well and set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in M&Ms. Drop by heaping spoonfulls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool one minute on the pan before lifting.
Tip: for a very different flavour, substitute 1/4 of the M&Ms with raspberry chocolate chips. For a chewier cookie, cook for only 10 minutes. |
