| Boston College (35), (34) at Pittsburgh (39), (38) Final Score: Pittsburgh, 19-16 Harmon: Pittsburgh, 21-16 19.2 points CFN:Pittsburgh, 17-14 19.6 points Joe: Pittsburgh, 21-20 18.8 points The showdown for #3 in the Big East. Or so Phil thinks! I say Rutgers has it in the bag though, but everyone has an opinion. OK, i have no idea what I'm rambling about, but I'll say one thing. These teams are really really close to each other. Look for Pitt to win a close defensively won game. G: Boston College, 24-20 12.0 points This one will be close, but BC is still a better team. Rutherford is going to have to play a hell of a lot better than he did against ND. Bottom line, hell be awful again compred to where he has to be. Phil: Pitt, 20-14 19.0 points The battle for third place in the Big East. Pitt has been improving as the year has progressed, and their excellent D should do enough to get a huge win at home in Heinz against an always-tough BC team. LSU (10), (10) at Auburn Final Score: Auburn, 31-7 Harmon: Auburn, 24-21 13.0 points CFN: LSU, 27-20 5.1 points Joe: LSU, 28-14 3.2 points LSU. Not about drugs. If the song was "Lucy in the Sky with Ukeleles", it might be about these guys. I think Auburn is really great, but I don't think they'll be able to stop LSU in this tiger show-down. I predict that half way through this game, Cecil Fielder pulls off his helmet and says "damn it! Not again!", because he confused his Tigers. Then he hitchhikes back to Detroit, and starts the greatest sports comeback in history, only to be stopped in a tragic mob trampling after he wins game 6 of next year's World Series. He dies, and the Tigers lose the Game 7, overcome with grief and the realization that Cecil is no longer able to carry them. G: Auburn, 31-20 14.8 points LSU dont play well away.again, theyll lose on someone elses turf damnit. This is getting embarrassing for themthey gotta snap out of it sometime and play like champs! Will that be today?!?! NOPE! Phil: LSU, 31-30 10.2 points The Cadillac broke an axle, yet the Tigers almost pulled one out in the swamp without him. It's tough to gauge this game, but I'm going to go with an LSU team that's been playing really well. Who knew, after the way Virginia Tech smashed them at the beginning of the season? It says a lot about LSU that they haven't lost since, and it says even more about Virginia Tech. |
