| Eastern Michigan at Maryland (G's Pick) Final Score: Maryland, 45-3 GUEST SAGE KRIS: Maryland, 44-12 16.2 points Harmon: Maryland, 46-6 19.0 points CFN: 17.8 points Joe: Maryland, 48-14 16.2 points Hopefully we can figure some things out in this game. G: Maryland, 52-13 18.1 points I'm not one to say much against my team ... but man did we suck last week. With that said, some of my favorite players will be debuting this week. WR Danny Melendez has the best hands on the team by far! and Josh Allen is a lot like Lamont Jordan and has potential to be better. We will have to struggle to lose this game. Considering EMU gives up like 537 Yards per game....yah. Bruce won't be back, but hopefully some of our youngest players will play up to a half. I really help they do! GO TERPS. Phil: Maryland, Maryland, 49-14 16.4 points EMU could be even worse than Akron. They could be the worst team in all of D 1-A. So it's another easy win for us, and a rest for our putrid secondary. BYU (U), (34) at Georgia Tech (41), (38) (G's Pick) Final Score: Georgia Tech, 28-19 GUEST SAGE KRIS: BYU, 36-29 8.2 points Harmon: BYU, 24-22 11.6 points CFN: Georgia Tech, 34-20 17.8 points Joe: Georgia Tech, 38-24 17.0 points I don't use this phrase very often, but this game won't be as close as the score shows. Georgia Tech is a great, great team. O.K. Maybe not, but they're pretty good. Better than us, I think. I dunno. Definitely right now. We have some problems right now. The way it looks, we might not go to a bowl. If we do, it's far away. Oy. G: Georgia Tech, 41-24 15.8 points well...I'm all for the acc and all against BYU. Why? cuz they demand respect then lose to teams like Nevada and almost get spanked bye Hawaii for a second year in a row...oi. go to a real skoo Whalen. It's ok, AJ Suggs will have a big game and Hollings will show that he's not to be taken lightly just because he's at a passing schol! gtech by two touchdowns...and that will be because of a late BYU surge. Phil: Georgia Tech, 42-28 16.2 points BYU got shocked at Nevada last week, and they'll want to respond, but they just don't have the necessary D, even if Ga. Tech isn't anything special. The Cougars will score, but it won't be enough. Air Force (39), (36) at California (23), (U) (Phil's Pick) Final Score: Air Force, 23-21 GUEST SAGE KRIS: Cal, 32-20 10.0 points Harmon: Air Force, 21-20 19.4 points CFN: Cal, 34-24 10.0 points Joe: Cal, 38-24 8.4 points What the......Cal?? Where did this come from? When I think of bad teams in good conferences, Cal is usually a wild card pick for me. They destroyed Michigan State last week. I think Michigan State is legit, too. Is Cal really this good? Air Force has impressed also, which is why this is such a great game. Two teams are fighting for national recognition. One will be dismissed in this game. Cal....If I listed my top 100 teams at the beginning of the year, Cal might not have been on that list. Now their making a push for rankings. G: Cal, 31-20 10.4 points Is AFA really that good? or is CAL really that good? damn...we'll see both this weekend I guess. I personally think Cal is the real deal and Jason Kidd should be proud! and Air Force is getting better but will have a quick updating on their national powerhouse standards this weekend...good luck to both teams though. Since AF is really part of the Navy, I'd love to see an upset!!! GO AFA! Phil: Air Force, 31-27 18.0 points Here we go, a great rushing attack against an early surprise team from the Pac 10. The Golden Bears looked great in their thrashing of Michigan State on the road last week, but if Air Force can keep the game close, they can win it. The Triple Option attack should win the battle of these unbeatens. Fresno State (U), (44) at Oregon State (28), (27) (Joe's Pick) Final Score: Oregon State, 59-19 GUEST SAGE KRIS: Oregon State, 28-27 6.0 points Harmon: Oregon State, 26-13 8.0 points CFN: Oregon State, 31-23 8.0 points Joe: Oregon State, 24-21 5.6 points I like this game. Oregon State picked a pretty evenly matched team to start their "real" season. Their first three games have been blowouts against weak teams. Meanwhile, Fresno State is 1-2, but have lost by 2 and 4 points to Wisconsin and Oregon. It's weird. I think Oregon State is better than Wisconsin and Fresno State, but not in the same ballpark as Oregon. The fact that Fresno lost to Oregon by 4 makes this a really intriguing matchup. G: Oregon State, 27-13 9.4 points The REAL FSU better be ready for a whoopin cuz Oregon State is gonna bring it like whoa! Phil: Oregon State, 34-25 8.8 points I thought last year was supposed to be the year of the Beaver, but this might be instead. Oregon State should get their revenge against a tough Fresno team. Man...the Pac 10 is off to a great start this year, aren't they? |
