| This is the earliest I say it's OK to take your tight end. He had all his WRs, RBs, QB, and finished off his offense with a good pick here. I'd guess a TE rush was coming if I was him, so nice pick. Too early in my book still, for D. There'll be lots of great players available, even at the beginning of the season. No one knows that much about D. Don't get your panties in a bunch. I like this pick, not because I think he was the best backup QB available, but because it's a beautiful marraige between Steely Resolve and Slash. I'd have taken Green or Griese instead, but it's not as happy. I bet he's worth more than 0 tier points, but you would not see Ike Hilliard on my team if we had a 5 WR league. I can't wait for the really terrible picks to start happening so I can rip Bujustin a new one. Feels the TE rush coming, picks a good one up before they start to disappear, before he gets his last receiver. Nice. Apparently too much of a steal to pass up here. Ade could be a depth before TE, K, D guy. We'll see. Anyway, this is one of the best #2 QBs in our league. Pretty good pick. Might make my early Keyshawn pick look dumb. Hopefully not. If I was in a 12 team league, and I was the last to get a tight end, I would still pass on Walls. This pick makes me smile. I probably overvalue Sharpe, but I got the TE that I wanted. I noticed that Fred Taylor was available and almost took him, but decided that a TE was more likely to go soon than him, if he hadn't already. I think Shockey will be good. Not a bad pick. I'd have considered Wycheck here though. |

| His stats were padded by that 4 INT game last year. I'm going to bet that won't happen again. This is a reason I hate drafting D early. There'll be plenty of good picks later, many better than this one. This, in my opinion, was the steal of the draft. I so wanted to stay away from him, but this is ridiculous. Fred Taylor should not make it to the 8th round. Once again, I have this sorry bum on my team. Oy. The bad defensive picking continues for a stretch. People don't really know about defense, and then pick too early. Only pick early if you know. The hometown favorite. The problem with this pick is that Champ is too good for fantasy. QBs avoid him, so he doesn't get as many stats. Ade nabs a pretty good RB here. So far, not as many RBs have gone as normal. Foster is my second favorite rookie RB. Then Portis, then Duckett. Went right where he should of, according to my rankings. You'll notice, however, that my rankings don't include D, TE, or K. I'd have definitely taken Muhammad, or my idol, Morton. Way too early for a kicker in my book. This happened becuase autodraft will fill in positions you need rather than making sensible picks. At least you got a good kicker (tier pts. temporarily inflated bc of K). Goes and gets his 3rd RB. I like Antowain Smith much more. I don't know why people here hate Antowain Smith. Travis Henry too. Why didn't you take Duckett? I thought you liked him. Mmm....he's borderline worthy of having. I bet he gets dropped later. I'm hungry. I'm gonna make some eggs as soon as I finish this page. I love everyone on the Tampa Bay defense, but I still say it's too early for picks like this. |
