Welcome to Northgate Math and the classes of John McPeak for the 2007-2008 school year. In this webpage and its links, I will try to give students and parents all the information needed to stay current in my course and to know what is expected at all times.

Fastest communications are by email to [email protected]

Call me at Northgate (938-0900) whenever you wish. Enter my extension, which is 2121, to bypass the school's recorded message and get directly to my mailbox. If you do leave me a message, be sure to include your student's name.

Parents: It usually takes 24 hours to return a phone message. I’ll get back to you much more quickly if you email me instead. If you just want to review your student’s grades, click on the gradebook link for his/her class.

  • The course SYLLABUS shows all topics we will cover this year and what students should be ABLE TO DO; tests will be based on the syllabus.
  • Under the GRADING link you will find my Standards and Expectations, which describe how I grade this class and what I expect of students.
  • The PROJECTS link describes the two semester projects we will do this year.
  • The ASSIGNMENTS page shows what topics we cover each day along with the reading and exercises students should do. There are also links to my lecture notes on each unit assignment calendar.
  • Under RESOURCES you will find some useful websites, solutions to the Craps and Poker probabilities, and some useful ideas for connecting calculators and computers.
  • You can find GRADES by clicking on the appropriate period listed at the left.
