discovered by the PCs
And other notable Landmarks
Del Mar as'Hifax--Largest subterranean mine outside Urdunnil located in southeast Firiel. It recently struck mithril after providing tons of iron that named the Sword Hills. It was the workplace of Kobort..
Great Hall at Greyhome--The Great Hall is a large room
that is adjacent to the
temple of Pontos Solastrian. The large dome shaped room has small magical
lanterns that hang from the ceiling. Each lamp gives enough light to show
the walls with their extravagant paintings. The paintings each depict a different scene in the
rise of the Solastrian Knights. In the center there is a large painting of
an elf holding a large sword. The elf has armor that looks like leaves
have been grown together to cover his body. His face shows a look of determination as his long brown hair is
flowing in wind. He holds the sword point down with both hands on the
handle. Around the elf is a large dark fog that covers the land, but does
not come near the elf. The rest of the paintings have this elf battling dragons, mesmerallen, goblins, and creatures
not known to you. The room has banners that adorn the blank spaces on the
walls between the portraits. Each of the banners represents a different
part of the Greyhome battlements. The Night Runners’ banner is dark
green with black stripes that run in slanting slopes. There is a large
silver arrow in the middle. The Wind Chasers’ (eagle riders) banner is
white and blue with a large golden spear in the center. On the end of the
spear there are wings. The Wilderness Seekers’ (foot patrol) banner is
green and blue with a bronze bow in the center. The bow is knocked with an arrow
of gold. The Spirit Healers’(priests) is a mixture of white and green
with a large golden goblet in the center. The goblet is tipped and water is pouring
out. The Emerald Flames’ (magic users) banner is blue and gold with a
green flame in
the center. The Death Watch’s (guards) banner is gold and silver with a
large battlement in the center. The Harpers’ (support crews) banner is a
deep blue with a silver harp in the center. The largest of the banners is a large golden
one, the Solastrian Knights. This large golden banner has a large sword
running the length of the banner. It is the same sword as the portraits.
The hall is filled with bushes that are smoothed on the top to form a natural
table with branches that serve as chairs. The top surface is made of
leaves that have been intertwined to form a solid surface for food and drink.
The chairs are large branches that have a flat area to sit. The bush tables and chairs are the work of the Spirit Healers. The tables are
spread in a circle around the center of the room. In the center of the
Great Hall is an area that is elevated above the rest of the floor. There is a one large table
with a space for a speaker. On the sides of the Hall are doors that lead
to both the temple and the kitchen.
