I may not have mentioned this before but HTA strips is as much about the hilarity of medical students as it is about the patients. It's a double-edge sword I guess. But I'm never someone who is afraid of generating some laughter at my own expense. In fact, it is probably my forte! Like in this strip, I think in our anxious haste to extract the story out from the patient, we often bombard the patients with too many questions all at once! Information overload! On the other hand, it's impractical to let the patient ratter on non-stop about totally irrelevant stuff. It's really a fine skill, history-taking.
