Ways and Means
The ways and means, or fund raising, chair and his/her committee is responsible for raising the amount needed to meet the proposed unit budget. PTA funds are raised and used for purposes approved by the association in advance of any fund raising event. The budget covers expenses such as insurance, duplicating, publications (Directory), programs, hospitality, representation at state convention, and Honorary Service Awards. Gomes PTA's fund raisers are Scrip, e-scrip, Spirit Wear, Albertsons' Community Partners Program, General Mills Box Tops For Education, Game Night, Schoolcash, Schoolpop, and Webvan.
