ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS

This home is located in Gainesville and easily accessible from I-985. A ten minute drive brings you in to the center of Gainesville, surrounded with unlimited activities and opportunities if desired. You can visit Lanier Aqua Rentals for any of your boating needs or to rent a boat or jet-ski. From the house you can jump in your boat and in just seconds you are on the Chatahochie river which is one of the main channels of the lake. This is also right near the Olympic Rowing venue and is closest to some of the best fishing spots in the area.

Also nearby is the Lake Lanier Islands water park, Golf, Tennis, Rafting, Hiking, Horseback riding and much more. Additional amenities are only minutes away, including restaurants, movies, a shopping mall, food stores, Wal-Mart, gas stations, etc. Downtown Gainesville provides many interesting shops and some fine restaurants. Gainesville Marina is a full-service marina only minutes away too. The Mall of Georgia, and Chateau Elan are within easy driving distance. There are numerous golf courses in the vicinity and for a change of pace, visit the nearby historic towns of Helen and Dahlonega, which is a nice scenic drive and will still have you home for dinner.
