Elsie Eaton Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Elsie Eaton, 91, died Friday (May 3, 1974) at Richland Senior Citizen's Home after a long illness.

Mrs. Eaton was born March 7, 1883, in the Town of Akan, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Fosnow.

She attended the Ryan School in the Town of Akan and later taught at that school.

She married Delbert Eaton Nov. 15, 1905, and they farmed in the Town of Akan until moving to Richarland Center in 1920. He preceeded her in death in 1942.

She was a member of the Peace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Don (Elma) Weeden of Richland Center; two grandchildren, Dean Weeden of Green Bay, amd Mrs. Richard (Betty) Ferguson of Richland Center; and seven great-grand children.

Funeral services were Monday in the Pratt Chapel with the Revs. Venton Scott and Kenneth Brice officiating. Burial was in the Richland Center Cemetary.

Many thanks to the neighbors, friends and relatives of their many acts of kindness, cards floral contributions and memorial money due to the death of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A special thanks to Rev. Scott, Rev. Brice, and the Pratt Memorial Chapel for their many services. Also the ladies of the Peace United Methodist Church who prepared and served a fine lunch. A special thanks to all the fine employees, nurses, and iades and Dr. Spear at the Richland Senior Citizens Home. These folks made her past two years as pleasant as humanily possible. The family will always remain grateful to the people of the Senior Citizens Home.
