| Out of 228 songs submitted, STARLIGHT, composed by Paul Abela and penned by Joe Julian passed into the next phase along with another 34 songs. In the next phase the song will be performed live by TRILOGY in front of yet another different international jury. |
| November 2006: First eliminatory for MSFE 2007 |
| TRILOGY were drawn to be the sixteenth (thus last) to perform on the 1st of February MSFE 2007 semi-finals at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, Ta' Qali. Six songs have to be chosen to take part two days later in the finals. |

| TRILOGY (Daniel Debono, Eleanor Spiteri and Roger Tirazona) performed STARLIGHT live in front of an international jury and eventually qualified to take part in the Malta Song for Europe 2007 contest. STARLIGHT was Joe Julian's only submission for this year's edition. |

| On the afternoon of the 28th of January, the Trilogy Mini-Concert was held in Baystreet, St. Julian's to promote the song STARLIGHT just a few days before the Malta Song for Europe 2007 contest. The song was widely acclaimed by all those present. Trilogy and Joe Julian met hundreds of enthusiasts. |
