| This hilarious 12 episode comedy is based on the colourful events of a newly appointed Civil Service Principal Officer, showing situations both at the Government offices and at his own home. Fedele Grixti, the new officer at the helm of the Environment Department's Public Relations Section, is said to have been given the appointment due to his wife Molly�s intimate friendship with the Minister. The couple has two children: Kevin and Alexis. Kevin, a heavy metal rocker, doesn�t usually see eye to eye with his sister who is obsessed at having her way with men, no matter what the price may be. Both youths don't want to work at all as they find life very easy depending on their parents for cash. At the office, Frederick is always complaining that he was the one who should have been promoted. He insists he is always very very busy, but still finds the time to give away all his work to Catherine, a MUSEUM member who only finds relief in crying. Sharon, the Minister�s niece, is a showy clerk who knows how to use her power. She is constantly aware of the most particular attention given to her by Charlie, the union shop steward. Gerry is the section�s lively messenger, often at odds with Frederick but befriends all the other men at the office, not least with Martin the lazy policeman posted at the entrance of the Minister's office. |
| This sitcom involves the life of the Cassar family, their neighbours and colleagues at work. The father, Joe, is an accountant with a private Auditors Company. Dora, his wife, is a manageress with an exclusive house of fashion known in Europe and America. Joe and Dora are the parents of Ruth the eldest and Jason, two modern, polite and intelligent teen-agers. Along with the family lives Dora�s mother, Katrin, a kind-hearted granny. Their close neighbour, Lieni, is a spinster who tries her best to win the heart of batchelor Salvu, Katrin�s brother who has just returned from the United States. The main plots are all based on current issues like relations between the couple, children and other members, love and sexuality, fidelity and responsibility, the importance of the working wife, problems related to teen-age like love, affection, study, exams, adventure and others. Apart from everyday matters, unforgettable hilarious moments make the production more spicy. |
