| February 2007: STARLIGHT Runner-up |
| Trilogy make it to the final On the 1st of February, at the MFCC complex in Ta' Qali, the sixteen semi-finalist songs were performed direct on TVM. At the end of the show, the six finalists to proceed to Saturday were announced. STARLIGHT sung by TRILOGY, composed by Paul Abela and penned by Joe Julian, was one of the chosen few, judged by 50% expert foreign jury and the rest by televoting. In the final, STARLIGHT will be the last song to be performed. |

| Second Prize for STARLIGHT In the final night of the Malta Song for Europe 2007 at Ta' Qali, STARLIGHT, performed by TRILOGY, places second and obtained 7647 votes in a 100% televoting process. The backlight projection video during the song was directed by Joe Julian. |
| Joe Julian's lyrics in N.C.P.E. and E.U. project Joe Julian has been commissioned to write twelve songs promoting sex equality. All the songs, to be composed by Paul Abela, will be published on cd as a part of the "Taking Gender Equality to Local Communities" project financed by the E.U. and co-ordinated by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality. |

| World ice-skating champions took part in the breath-taking event. Apart from TRILOGY, singers like Silvia Mezzanotte of Matia Bazar fame and Rosalia Misseri, Esmeralda in Riccardo Cocciante's Notre Dame de Paris, provided the music to an audience of more than 2,500. The show was presented by Miss Italia 1996 Denny Mendez. STARLIGHT was the local song chosen for the night by the producers from the Malta Song for Europe finals. |
