102. Peter Parker was born on 1 Jan 1762.⁽³⁶⁾ Probably the old name of GATES Co. was COWAN Co. He was a Planter between 1780 and 1836 in Gates Co. NC.⁽³⁷⁾ Peter also was a PLANTER in Webster Co. KY, (Old Hopkins Co.) where he would eventually Die. He signed a will on 15 Oct 1832 in Hopkins County, KY. ⁽³⁸⁾ This appears to be legitimate in all respects. He died on 16 Jul 1836 in Webster Co. KY.⁽³⁹⁾ Webster County was originally HOPKINS Co., KY. He was buried on 20 Jul 1836 in Old PARKER Cemetery near Providence KY.⁽⁴⁰⁾ Evidently the PARKER family had their own cemetary near Providence KY, where all of the PARKER's were buried. Jan 1978: The major compiler for this Family Record information was Betty W. Irwin of Rte #2, Box 675 in Laurins, S.C. He was married to Sarah Barnes about 1785 in North Carolina.⁽⁴¹⁾

103. Sarah Barnes was born on 9 Nov 1762 in North Carolina.⁽⁴²⁾ This was the date discernable on her tombstone. She died on 13 Nov 1836 in Webster Co. KY.⁽⁴³⁾ Webster Co. is old Hopkins Co. KY. She was buried on 16 Nov 1836 in Old PARKER Cemetery near Providence KY.⁽⁴⁴⁾ Sarah was buried next to her husband Peter PARKER. Children were:

i. Elizabeth (Betsy) Parker⁽⁴⁵⁾ was born about 1785 in Gates Co. NC. She died on 29 Sep 1842.

iii. Esther (Pheobe) Parker⁽⁴⁶⁾ was born about 1788 in Gates Co. NC. She died on 18 Sep 1876. Jan 1978: The major compiler for this Family Record information was Betty W. Irwin of Rte #2, Box 675 in Laurins, S.C.

Esther was married at the drafting of this will, and cited with her married name.
iv. Richard Parker was born in 1791 in Gates Co. NC. He died on 16 Sep 1868 in Old PARKER Cemetery near Providence KY. vi. Wiley Parker was born about 1794 in Gates Co. NC. On the individual History Bibliography, there is a note which reads: May not be son of Peter Parker; may be Grandson.

viii. Elisha Parker was born about 1796 in Gates Co. NC.
ix. Benjamin Parker was born on 14 Aug 1798 in Gates Co. NC. He died on 31 Mar 1866 in Webster Co. KY. He was buried on 3 Apr 1866 in Old PARKER Cemetery near Providence KY.
x. Thomas B. Parker was born about 1799.
xi. Barnes Parker⁽⁴⁸⁾ was born about 1802. ⁽⁴⁹⁾ He died on 13 Sep 1823 in Webster Co. KY. Webster Co. KY is OLD Hopkins Co. KY. He was buried on 16 Sep 1823 in Old PARKER Cemetery near Providence KY.⁽⁵⁰⁾
