According to "COLONIAL SOLDIERS OF THE SOUTH 1732-1774", Elisha
served as a common soldier with the rank of PVT. He is listed as #57 in the
muster list, on 25 Nov 1754. He served with Lt.Col. John Harvey's Regiment representing
Perquimans County NC. He died on 26 Jul 1793 in Gates Co. NC.

in 1778 from Chowan & Hertford Counties, NC. He was buried on 29 Jul 1793.
