Episode 43: Broken Tessaiga at Last
Spoiler
Inuyasha arrives just in time to see Goshinki
about to kill two small children and jumps in to protect them. Goshinki uses
his telepathy to predict Inuyasha's every move. Knowing that this fight is too
much for their friend, Miroku attempts to use his Kazaana, however Naraku's
Saimyoushou are there as well preventing the Houshi to do anything in that
effect. Goshinki knows the gang's strong points, and is apt to stopping
them with little to no difficulty.
Inuyasha is struggling to stand up after his last fall, and the two children
he had saved were hanging onto the clothing of their deceased parents. This in
turn angers Inuyasha to the point where even as injured as he was,
determination kept his body moving. He attempts to use Kaze No Kizu, however
Goshinki captures Tessaiga in his mouth and breaks it in half; sending
Inuyasha flying to the ground barely breathing and close to death.
Miroku charges towards Goshinki, ready to use his Kazaana regardless of the consequences. However, he is struck down in one blow. Kagome refuses to believe Inuyasha is dead, and moments later... he revives suddenly and rips off Goshinki's right arm. Once his feet touch the ground, Inuyasha cracks his knuckles and his face is shrouded in darkness his eyes glowing blood red, jagged violet stripes adorned his cheek bones (not much different from the stripes on Sesshoumaru's face), "What's wrong Goshinki?" Inuyasha asks his voice lower, "Couldn't you see my moves?"
Goshinki is left confused, not knowing why
Inuyasha transformed... his mind is filled with only the joyous thoughts of
killing him, thus leaving Goshinki at a disadvantage. Inuyasha then attacks
the detachment, mauling his body into several different pieces. Kagome stands
back watching, unbelieving at the sight before her eyes. She steps closer
towards Inuyasha, he in turn growls at her, "Don't come near me! I don't know
what I might do to you!"
Unafraid, Kagome continues to step towards Inuyasha, despite objections from
Shippou and Miroku. Gently, Kagome reaches out towards Inuyasha, before
promptly offering an, "Osuwari!" Slamming into the ground, Inuyasha growls and
yells at Kagome, wondering exactly why she sat him. His eyes were once again
their familiar shade of amber. Kagome throws herself at him, her arms wrapped
around him. After their reunion, Kagome asked Inuyasha exactly what had just
happened... but his expression was blank as he looked back to the dead body of
Goshinki. He didn't have a clue... he didn't remember a thing.
