I have two kids, Rene who is 6 and started grade 1 this fall, and Joelle who is 2. They are the centre of my universe. I am an attachment parent. That means I believe in following my childrens cues, respecting their needs, and parenting them appropriately. It has been working well so far. I am currently training to be a La Leche League Leader (a breastfeeding support group).
I work as a civil engineer for a construction company. I love being a mommy but I really enjoy going to work as well(I just wish I could work part time). I am also teaching a sunday school program called the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, it is a Motessori based program where the children spend most of thier time working on specially prepared materials.
Oh, I forgot all about my husband! His name is Rick and he is a great guy, very helpfull around the house and shares most of my views about parenting.
I hope to get more pages in the future, I just need to find the time(don't we all).
