All past and present members of Job's Daughters and Bethel Guardian Council members are welcome to attend our Jamboree. If you are a past member, you are welcome to join us for our 50th Anniversary. Please use the registration forms to register as individuals as opposed to with your former Bethels.
The cost for this weekend is $100.00. This will cover two nights lodging plus the following meals: Friday - Dinner and a late-night hot dog feast; Saturday - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; Sunday - Breakfast. If you choose to stay for lunch on Sunday right after the Grand Bethel Installation, you will need to add $10 to your cost. (Thus the weekend would cost $110.)
Jamboree is held at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, WI.
Registration Forms are linked on this website. The deadline for registration is June 15, 2009. Your check for $50 for each registrant (non-refundable) as well as medical forms for each person MUST accompany your registration. Space is limited. After the June 15th deadline, any extra housing reserved for us will be released back to Green Lake. Any registrations received after the deadline will incur a $20 penalty and will be accepted only if space is still available.
Jamboree will be held again this year in August. While some of the traditions of Jamborees past will be maintained, new and exciting activities are being planned. Things have changed at Green Lake with new buildings, including a cafeteria, meeting rooms, etc. Bedding and towels will continue to be provided; however you will need to bring soap, shampoo and other personal toiletries. Food is served in the main dining room, cafeteria style (all you can eat), with two or three entrees, salads, soups, desserts, beverages, etc.

REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN AT 1:30PM ON FRIDAY in the PILLSBURY HALL lobby. ROOM CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4PM! NO keys will be issued before 4PM
Housing: To get the rate we do, we must maximize the housing. Couples may be split up, women will be roomed with women and the men with men. People who need special arrangements must indicate this on the form. We will try our very best to accomodate all wishes. Please know that some of the housing may require you to walk/drive to Pillsbury Hall.
Activities will begin on Friday afternoon with tram rides, special crafts and projects, a scavenger hunt, button machine, etc. Dinner on Friday evening is included in your cost and will be served from 5:30-7pm that evening. Many activities are being planned and will be listed on the program given to you at the time of Registration. Also check the Jamboree schedule link for updated info.
Grand Bethel will have its annual meeting on Saturday with the Installation Ceremony on Sunday morning immediately following the church service.
The Talent Show, Grand Bethel meetings and Miss Wisconsin Job's Daughters Pageant will all be moving back to Pillsbury Hall this year.
The 27th annual Jamboree Jog for HIKE will take place on Saturday at 6:00am (rain or shine). This is a great way to begin the day and raise money for our philanthropic project. Whether you run, walk or watch, please get pledges from friends, family and/or neighbors. Or make a contribution to HIKE at the beginning of the Jog. We have set a fundraising goal of $1500 for this event -- please help us exceed our goal!
Sports will be held on Saturday morning and afternoon, with volleyball on Saturday afternoon.
The traditional Jamboree crafts, which are a favorite of our Jobies, will also be available Saturday morning and afternoon. Our craft sessions will be held in Pillsbury Hall Lakeview.
The Chapel Car, Judson Tower, Fitness Center, Country Store, gift shop, tennis courts, bike rentals, and swimming area will be available to us. A nominal fee will be charged for the bike rentals.
| Please complete the Registration Forms, attach a Medical Form (now one form for Grand Bethel and Jamboree) for all attendees and mail it before the deadline of June 15, 2009.
