Lesson 4: Character Education
(Character Portraits)

Understanding of characterization will be enhanced as students self-reflect on their character traits.

Objective:
Students will analyze character traits by identifying personal
strengths and areas they perceive as weaknesses.

Materials:

Character Self-Portrait sheet

Procedure:
1. Consulting family members, friends, classmates, and/or former teachers, students will analyze their personal character traits and provide supporting examples. Students should refer to the Character Traits sheet they've been developing throughout the unit.
2. Studets will draw a self-portrait.
3. Post Character Self-Portraits on classroom bulletin board.
