Born in Ottawa, Ontario, I now reside in North Vancouver, BC.  For those of you not from here, BC is on the west coast of Canada, right above Washington State.  Because we are so close to the ocean, we have incredible weather here pretty much year round.  In the winter though, the rain can be a bit hard to take after a while.  I can't complain too much about the rain though.  If it wasn't for our wet weather, we wouldn't have the incredible gardens and trees that we do.

I have just graduated from the Administrative Assistant Program at Capilano College.  It is a one-year program with a work an experience practicum.  I will be completing my practicum doing web page design and office administration for Nuytco Research Ltd.  I am extremely excited about my practicum and look forward to working for such an innovative, local company.

In North Vancouver, I live with my three cats - Cyrano, Gretchen and Quilt. I spend a lot of my spare time reading about web page design and surfing the web looking for that ultimate background tile (then I discovered how to make my own in Photoshop! All of the ones from this site are hand done).  I also love listening to music, reading, hanging out with my friends and cats, surfing on eBay, cooking and being in the middle of nowhere for extended periods of time.  I have a strong passion for environmental education and I also happen to posses a diploma in Fish and Wildlife Management.

eBay is the world's largest personal online trading community. Individuals ~ not big businesses ~ use eBay to buy and sell items in more than 4,320 categories.  It's a great place especially if you are a collector of any kind.  Be careful though, it's really addictive!
