 Gilgal Refuge is fitted with
intruder alarms and experienced refuge staff are
available 24 hours a day
There is a shared lounge for
residents, which is comfortably furnished and has a
television and video
There is a laundry, fully
equipped kitchen and seperate dining room
 
There are close links to
other agencies such as housing, schools,
solicitors, health visitors and education welfare.We
also have links with the Children's Society
The refuge is situated close
to a job centre, post office, shops and schools.
There is also a health centre and dentist nearby
where residents may receive medical treatment.
A large, safe garden at the
back of the house with a car park is available, as
well as outside play equipment for children. There is
also a playroom for children, and a children's
project staffed by an experienced children's worker
