Youngers Creek Trail

This new trail persmissioned from Hardin County has total of 3 land property and combining over 700 acres. Trails will be made beside the land fill and logging. Elevation of this mountain is far greater than Otter Creek Park, Fort Duffield and this makes very interesting for the new trails be made. Trails will be open to public for Mountain Bike/Hiking ONLY and we are designing the trails for intro level riders to advance riders. Trail entrance will be hidden from the road and start from the lower section of the steep hill as you will see from the parking lot. Once you will make it up at the top of the mountain, huge flat section of the mountain will give you plenty of flat trails to ride with.

Current Trail Maintenance Status

In 2004, our DOT (Dempartment of Trail) organized by our team continue to expand existing trail for upcoming race. Now we have added a new swtichback on front side of the trail for better and IMBA style trail system. This new secion is currently not open for use untill the race day . We expected to add quarter miles to our existing trail. We hope to have updated trail map soon.

Our maintenance crew will be working on phase 2 of our trail.

From Elizabethtown:Rte. 62 East, turn right onto 583 (Old Youngers Creek Road), turn right onto Miller Road, follow Miller Road to Youngers Creek Trails

From Louisville:Rte 65 South to Exit No.105, Follow Rte. 61 South (go left at exit), and turn right on Rte 62 . About @4miles, turn left onto 583 (Old Youngers Creek Road)turn right onto Miller Road, follow Miller Road to Youngers CreekTrails.

From Lexington:Blue Grass Parkway west to Exit No. 10, turn right on to Rte. 52 heading north, turn left onto Rte. 62, turn left onto 583 (Old Youngers Creek Road), turn right onto Miller Road, follow Miller Road to Youngers Creek Trails.
