Supplies have finally arrived! Now I just need to get the wood. Hopefully that will happen
next week sometime while I'm on a two week vacation. Still need to order oarloacks and some other hardware.
After much discussion with my wife we have decided to purchase a
trailer and a
Tohatsu 2.5 hp 2 stroke instead of the Honda BF2D. The price of both the trailer and Tohatsu
equals the cost of the Honda alone. The Tohatsu lacks any features (gears, tiller throttle) but
is quiet and dependable.
That makes my projected project total:
Supplies above - $343.75
wood 100.00
hardware and oars - 100.00
trailer - 575.00
motor - 520.00
misc. - 100.00
TOTAL - $1738.75
I can live with that. Can't wait to start construction. Oh well, the model is looking good.
