What do we value?
It is a question of, what do we value?
We value old buildings and we preserve them for history.
We value animals and we have the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
We value forests and nature and we have national parks.
What if we valued Human Beings?
Why don't we have a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Human Beings?
Why don't we see that every person has sufficient food, shelter and the necessities of life without judging them as undeserving, inadequate, stupid or lazy?
We peer so suspiciously at each other that we cannot see that we Canadians are standing on a mountaintop of human wealth, freedom and privilege
